South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham has thrown his support to Ted Cruz, calling him "the best alternative" to Donald Trump.
According to an invitation obtained by POLITICO, Graham will headline a fundraiser for Cruz on Monday.
This marks the second senator to publicly support Cruz, and is a significant development: Graham, a more centrist South Carolina senator, until recently openly detested his colleague from Texas. But in recent weeks he has suggested that Cruz stands the best chance of beating Donald Trump.
"’Backing Cruz or ‘supporting,’ yes,” confirmed Graham communications director Kevin Bishop on Thursday.

Gosh, what a glowing endorsement.
I still detest this little weasel, but he's marginally preferable to a goddamn psychopath.

Which he actually isn't, FYI.
The funniest thing about this election is that they changed to the rule set they've got now to try and allow for a more moderate front runner to come in, with fewer debates and shorten the run time of the nomination process so they could wrap it up without having to move too far to the right and compromise their moderate appeal (like romney). The fact that the exact polar opposite of that happened is both hilarious and sad.
have u guys seen this? http://••••••••1Ltt5z8 :)

- the one, two snip-eroo-
if someone asked me Trump or Cruz I'd rather put a stray dog in the oval office then those two.
a stray dog would have a better chance at beating Hillary then Trump.

I think even Trump can beat Hillary at this point. I mean she recently said in a town hall that "we didn't lose a single person in Libya" which is amusing to me because those Benghazi hearings took up huge amounts of her time. Did she forget somehow or was she lying to make regime changing look 100% safe?

Unfortunately, the electability polls disagree with you.

Because polls this early before the general election, before the actual nominations, mean anything :v:

Did you even watch the video that you linked or are you intentionally misrepresenting what she actually said? She said "we didn't lose a single person in Libya" when referring to the air campaign and military support the United States provided during that time. Nice try though.

Polls this far out from the actual election don't mean anything. At this point in 2008 McCain was over Obama in terms of polls, even in September McCain was beating Obama and then as they neared the actual election shit went south for McCain big time.
In 2004 Kerry was beating Bush in many more polls this far out from the election many more times and didn't win anyway.
I wish I could find a chart of all Bush Vs Gore polls but that doesn't exist, my point is anyone that mentions current polling match ups is a moron, even Trump when he claims in some polls he beats Hillary.
Weird I've never heard of him before, at first I thought "Lindsey Graham? Who is she exactly?"
World's most accurate portrayal of Graham:

Lindsey Graham has been one of the only Republican Presidential canadates to come out harshly against Trump. Calling him a bigot and an xenophobic. He has also condemned a lot of Ted Cruzs social policys. I guess he sees Cruz as the lesser of two evils.

I did watch it. It was a very poor choice of words that will be used against her. precisely the way I just did, and I'm fairly certain the average voter will actually eat that up.

It's Trump, Cruz or Hillary, pick yer poison. Hillary at the very least isn't a regressive nutjob like Cruz and has 30 years of being in the government unlike Trump
Unless Sanders really gains momentum on Hillary and can win over the Northeast and Southwest by 12+ point leads
