• It Turns Out Hamas Didn’t Kidnap and Kill the 3 Israeli Teens After All
When the bodies of three Israeli teenagers, kidnapped in the West Bank, were found late last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not mince words. "Hamas is responsible, and Hamas will pay," he said, initiating a campaign that eventually escalated into the present conflict in the region. But now, officials admit the kidnappings were not Hamas's handiwork after all. Repeated inconsistencies in Israeli descriptions of the situation have sparked debate over whether Israel wanted to provoke Hamas into a confrontation. Israeli intelligence is also said to have known that the boys were dead shortly after they disappeared, but to have maintained public optimism about their safe return to beef up support from the Jewish diaspora. Writing for Al Jazeera, Musa al-Gharbi argued that Israel wasdeliberately provoking Hamas:
All the illegal and immoral actions related to Operation Brother’s Keeper were justified under the premise of finding and saving the missing teens whom the Israeli government knew to be dead — cynically exploiting the tragedy to whip up public outcry in order to provoke and then confront Hamas. This pattern of deception continues under the ongoing military offensive in Gaza. For example, last week in collaboration with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Abbas, in its efforts to alienate Hamas, Israel announced a bad-faith cease-fire proposal, which Hamas was not consulted on and never agreed to but whose violation supposedly justified Israel’s expansion and intensification of the military campaign into Gaza.

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2014/07/hamas-didnt-kidnap-the-israeli-teens-after-all.html
I'm surprised Israel looked to use something for an excuse to go after Hamas instead of just...going after Hamas.
I thought it was pretty obvious the second Hamas said "nope, wasn't us". If anything, Hamas would have used them as leverage for prisoner releases rather than straight out killing them.
Just waiting for Israel to start making concentration camps to 'protect the civilians'.
Any excuse to shell Palestinian civilians, it seems.
I would go full conspiracy theorist and say Israel did it themselves to have an excuse to attack but lets be honest; Israel didn't need an excuse. They would have eventually invaded regardless of the PR because they know most Americans won't hear about the horrible bullshit they pull. And before anyone calls me a "Hamas sympathizer" or some other poorly construed bullshit, I hate them equally, but Israel, being a civilized nation, has standards it should try to live up too. To anyone who cares to look, it is plainly obvious they don't give any shits about the Palestinians, and they would honestly rather just kill them all or force them out of Gaza completely.

Although not sure if Israel broke any truce here. That would be another +3 War Exhaustion.
"After Israel's top leadership exhaustively blamed Hamas for kidnap of 3 teens, they've now admitted killers were acting as "lone cell."" Source?
They already have one, it's called the Gaza Strip
If anything- Gaza went to shit when the settlers were evicted and razed. Nobody fucking wants the Gaza. Israel wanted to hand it over to the Egypt and, of course, they declined because it's impossible to salvage.

Check mate Fox News.
I said this a week ago and was dismissed by the usual suspects. Israel loves starting military campaigns on false pretext, its just more of its divide and conquer tactics at play.
If no one wants it then how come Israel is willing to commit crimes against humanity to have it? Check mate Fox News.
Israel doesn't want it, it just wants the rockets to stop and is using very controversial and questionable methods of doing so. Checkmate... Fuck, where do people like you even come from? I'm not concenred by the annexation of Gaza, I reiterate- no county wants to bear the burden, I'm concerned about Israel's means of diffusing rockets.
They already have one, it's called the Gaza Strip
The Gaza strip is actually more like a Warsaw ghetto.
Probably because Hamas uses it's funding for digging tunnels instead of actually developing the area.
Didn't some tape just reveal Netanyahu bragging about how he manipulated the Israeli people and the United States?
Link?
He's referring to this most likely.
Maybe we should be a bit skeptical of the source seeing as their next most read article is "The Game of Thrones blooper reel you've all been waiting for"
That video is from years ago.
From what I can tell with my limited Hebrew skills, the video translations are mostly accurate. However, when he said - the Arabs are concentrating on a war of terror, need to hit them etc etc etc... he means that need to hit them where the terror is. It means terrorists like Hamas, for example. Not just your average Palestinian citizen. In that case, while the translations are literal, it doesn't mention that he's referring to terrorism and not just general Palestine as the translations imply. Move along, folks. Nothing new to see here.
The translation is 100% accurate, this is something I want to clarify just before anyone tries to latch on that variable. I read the translation and the original subtitles side by side and they completely connect, no strings attached.
