Apparently AC/DC has some serious problems (Rumors of disbanding) - Polidicks

People do get better after strokes, and people do recover lost skills. But friends and family of band members believe the decision was made last week to call it quits. Media in Australia have gone ballistic today on rumours of The End Of AC/DC, and it appears the news got out ahead of a planned official announcement from the band and management. They are getting old now, seems like a good time to retire. Still super sad though, AC/DC is my favorite band.

I was prepared to say something along the lines of "What, did they get tired of making the same album over and over again?", but honestly, this is extremely sad. A band with a career like that shouldn't end because of something like this.

Well they've actually got the legacy of being one of two bands I've taken an interest in (I prefer to find individual songs to listen to) let alone buy several of their albums on CD.

Damnit this should've happened to Fucking Korn or Godsmack (not the stroke part but the break-up thing,i'm not that dumb), why the hell did it have to be AC/DC? Really hope malcom gets better soon Of course i'll still be rated dumb because "Fuck you korn's awesome and fuels my rebellious spirit, Gosh!"

What a crippling feeling that must have been to gather at rehearsal and just not remember what to do. Poor guy, hopefully time will help.

Their last collection, Black Ice, was unlistenable. It's part of that loudness wars crap. Listen to something from the old days, then listen to that. Forget about which songs or better, just listen to how it [i]sounds[/i]. It's time they hang it up if they're just going to release crap like that. They have an incredible legacy of awesome hard rock, no one can take that away from them. As far as the stroke goes, if they treated it quickly he'll do better than if he waited a bit before getting looked at to see if he felt better. Also, it depends on the underlying reason for the stroke in the first place. Hopefully it's not a lifestyle issue.
