The CEO of the Democratic National Committee will resign Tuesday in the wake of the committee's hacked email controversy. Amy Dacey is the highest-ranking official at the DNC to step aside due to the matter, a senior Democratic official said, but is not the only one. The official did not provide further details. Dacey is well-respected by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the DNC circle, a source familiar with the resignation said. The changes at the DNC come as the Clinton campaign is moving to take greater control of party headquarters in Washington and in states across the country. Democrats are also trying to get ahead of the disclosure of more emails and internal documents from hacked computer systems, fearful of more embarrassing revelations.
http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/02/politics/dnc-ceo-resigns-in-wake-of-email-scandal/index.html I forgot there was a CEO of the DNC.
I forgot there was a CEO of the DNC.
i had no idea that it isn't even a public governmental organization or something, it seems more like a business to me
i had no idea that it isn't even a public governmental organization or something, it seems more like a business to me
yeah it basically is
i had no idea that it isn't even a public governmental organization or something, it seems more like a business to me
Political parties are private organisations that go forward for public office, at-least in most democracies. The Republicans and Democrats are just so established that they seem like government organisations.

Imagine coordinating something as complex as a Party National Committee without this.
All CEO means is Chief Executive Officer, it doesn't necessarily have to be for a for-profit business/corporation. Nonprofit charities have CEOs.
Dacey is well-respected by Hillary Clinton's campaign
That's putting it mildly.
i had no idea that it isn't even a public governmental organization or something, it seems more like a business to me
See, this is how Sanders supporters think as well. They dont realize that private organizations can do whatever they want
See, this is how Sanders supporters think as well. They dont realize that private organizations can do whatever they want
I don't think that's fair to say. I think it's more along the lines of *should* they be able to, not can they be able to. [editline]2nd August 2016[/editline] fkn ninja
How long until she gets a seat in the Clinton campaign?
Probably realizes that her head is wanted on a plate by quiet a few people right now. I'm hopeful that Trump wins, and the DNC and Clinton Foundation have a far more serious investigation vetted against them for voter fraud.

A lot of people believe they should be investigated as an apparatus as the state. I've said it before but as someone who voted Sanders in my states primary, I absolutely knew the DNC would back Clinton because she was the establishment Democrat choice, where as Sanders was the outside who jumped on the Democrat ticket to win.
Sure if we deny the existence of the Civil Rights Act, antitrust laws, minimum wage laws, and many more.
Did the DNC break these laws? And what does the Clinton Foundation have to do with this?
Yeah, only emails from within the organization itself actively organizing it and conspiring against Sanders. Other than that, no.
That's not voter fraud.
Yeah, only emails from within the organization itself actively organizing it and conspiring against Sanders. Other than that, no.
Not voter fraud. And as far as I am aware, I thought all of that was about how they could use Sanders' religious beliefs against him, very scummy yes, but which they never did anyways.
