Four people are believed to have been killed in a helicopter crash on the north Norfolk coast, police have said.
The helicopter is an HH-60G Pave Hawk, based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, a spokesman for the USAF confirmed.
Emergency services are at the scene in the Cley area with a 1,200ft (400m) area cordoned off.
Six appliances from Norfolk Fire Service are currently in attendance, including four pumps, a water carrier and an environmental protection unit.
What the hell's going on with the UK and helicopters recently?
Just saw this on the news, the area where it crashed is about 20 miles away. I'm gunna ask my friends tomorrow if they heard or saw anything.

Top secret magnet tests.
If the UK is anything like North America right now, there was probably a vortex that pulled in sub zero temperatures from the stratosphere and flash froze everyone in sight.
Rest in peace, warriors
High winds? We are pretty windy over here especially on the coast.
RIP tho.

"pretty windy"
You don't think too highly of our pilots, do you? I'd put my money on mechanical failure.

BBC article updated. It says that the weather was clear, not sure what that means in terms of wind however.
I gave BBC Weather a look, wind speed was low apparently so I stand corrected, it only seems to leave mechanical error then.
:/
