Highlights - General - Facepunch Forum

You've probably noticed the new highlights page above. It's meant to be a kind of a time saver for the casual browser. We were considering have a "goldmine" type forum where we throw "good" threads. This is better because the threads don't get moved to a separate forum and you get a nice page with only the `interesting` post in it. And we can highlight a specific post in a thread (for WAYWO type threads). This should be good to find posts in subforums that you rarely visit - so would never find the good stuff. I never found that section useful at all because it was so detatched from everything else. Good decision to have it as you've made it now, then.

What about that ITN thread from a long while back, I think it was about racism or something and it soon turned into a full reenactment of the Witch scene from Monty Python's Holy Grail. Does stuff like that count or just threads which stay on topic?
