McDonald's is selling a bottle of the special sauce used on their iconic Big Mac burgers on eBay, which has attracted a bid for more than $18,000 (£12,000). (Currently $23k AUD) All the proceeds raised will go towards Ronald McDonald House Charities that support families with sick children. The auction is for the first edition of 200 500ml bottles of sauce and runs from February 9 to 11. However, it will only be available for sale in Australia. .... McDonald's customers in Australia will also be able to purchase 25ml tubs of the sauce from any of their outlets this month. Some people are already trying to sell them on eBay for amounts ranging from $8 to $50 Australian dollars. I dunno, I just imagine myself buying that then going to Hungry Jacks (Burger King) and putting it on a Whopper.
Try the angry whopper, fuck the big mac sauce. That thing is fucking delicious.

Wasn't it revealed that Big Mac sauce is a variation of Mayonnaise? Or did I somehow think up something like that up. [editline]3rd February 2015[/editline] If only KFC revealed the secret to something like their Supercharged sauce, that shit is my jam.

I mean, there's that sriracha mayo shit, which is alright, but it's not nearly as good as that shit.

If you work at mcdonlads I don't imagine it would be that hard to just take a bottle from work and bring it home with you.
If you work at mcdonlads I don't imagine it would be that hard to just take a bottle from work and bring it home with you.
Those cameras you see in the stores aren't for the customers
Those cameras you see in the stores aren't for the customers
Noones gonna notice one bottle missing. I take bottled drinks from my work all the time. Unless they have some super secret big mac divion that constantly monitors the number of bottles and the exact amount of sauce left in every store at any given time.
Man I shoulda fuckin' stolen one of our 1L sauce canisters and sold that on ebay. Who cares if I got fired, 23k is like my yearly salary

One of my friends who works at McDonalds would always steal those used monopoly pieces when that was around. He was supposed to throw them away after people used them but he just pocketed them and gave them to friends.

The first thing I noticed is that he said he's making a version of it from ingredients you can buy at the grocery store. He just avoided the question completely.

That means they're paying someone a full wage (say 15 bucks an hour) to monitor cameras. They're making a solid loss unless without being monitored employees were stealing 15 bucks of stuff an hour.
$15 an hour to watch cameras?? Oh, right, Australia.
Our cost of living is like twice as high as merica so shut it
$15 an hour to watch cameras?? Oh, right, Australia.
They'd have to be 18 or younger otherwise they'd be getting paid below the adult minimum wage lol
Those cameras you see in the stores aren't for the customers
They are for the Hamburglar
They'd have to be 18 or younger otherwise they'd be getting paid below the adult minimum wage lol
$22.50 per hour Mcbitch here. Feels okay.
$22.50 per hour Mcbitch here. Feels okay.
I think Mcdonald's minimum starts at 7.50 here and you probably wouldn't be making over 10-12$ even as a manager.
