I'm going tomorrow to London, I arrive there about 9 am local time, im there till Saturday. Wondering if anyone wants to meet up at a place like Piccadilly Circus, any day is fine for me for a meetup. I would like to meet a fellow facepuncher, eat somewhere and stuff. Not sure if this fits in Fast Threads or General Discussion though. Oh also I'm from Finland

The innermost part of central London is the best place to be. That's where all the shit is at anyway. Stay away from Elephant and Castle, you'll loose a few IQ points everytime you enter.

I met some Facepunchers and they were all so cheap we just ended up going to the Tate Modern and I fell asleep on a bench for a few minutes. Art sux.

Don't avoid the tate modern, it can have some fantastic artwork in it sometimes, even if most of the time it's a hidden gem.
Tate britain also has some really nice stuff.

I really enjoyed the Natural History Museum when I went, you Brits have so p cool dinosaurs. Also Tower of London was interesting as well.
Of course, being a 20 year old American, most of my time was spent in the pubs marveling at the fact that I could order alcohol by myself.
By the way, whens the next uk facepunch meeting?
damn, I came to Scotland and everyone said I could go to the "cool" meetings in Edimburgh, it's been over a year and Its never been metioned.

I remember a school trip there.
Lots of white boxes stacked up and a cabinet full of all this guys stuff that he dredged up from the bottom of the Thames. The latter was interesting, but much of is is really just a goddamn joke. I've been there twice since, and both times it's just strengthened my opinion that much art is really just an overbloated waste of time. I like stuff that looks good, but a lot of the stuff in the Tate seems to really just there because it's 'different', and I'm really not interested.
Can't go wrong with the National History Museum though!

It's free too.
Tate is good, it's free as are most of the museums
V&A is good as well, across the road from it is the science museum which is cool too. and go to the parks, we've got nice weather at the moment
