Jaylin Boudria was found safe in Middletown, Connecticut. The baby's grandfather said Jaylin was left in an industrial park with her diaper bag. It is unclear who found her. THE ABDUCTION The baby was allegedly taken by Kimberly Johnson, 38, who also goes by the name Alisha Johnson. The abduction happened at Route 6 and Route 136 at a Shell gas station. The manager of the Shell station tells WBZ that Jaylin's mother went into the gas station's store at 12:45 p.m. to buy a drink. Jaylin's older sibling then walked into the store and said something to the mother. That's when Johnson allegedly took off with the baby. AMBER ALERT ISSUED An Amber Alert was issued for Jaylin shortly after she was taken. "We had information that the baby was in danger, and that's why we issued an Amber Alert," said Swansea Police Chief George Arruda. Jaylin was found within a few hours at a Connecticut industrial park at 1000 Middle Street. According to state police, the child appeared unharmed, but has been taken to the hospital for evaluation. MANHUNT CONTINUES Johnson is still at large. Police would not discuss a possible motive for the kidnapping. They would only say that Johnson is the half sister of Jaylin's mother. Johnson may be traveling in a silver or gray Kia Rio station wagon with a Minnesota license plate. A nationwide warrant has been issued for Johnson's arrest. She is charged with kidnapping. Anyone with information about Johnson's whereabouts is asked to call 911.[/release] Source [release]SWANSEA (WBZ) ― Police issued an Amber Alert for a missing 1-year-old girl in Swansea Thursday afternoon. It seems as if you're forgetting that semi-attractive women still have the ability to permanently traumatize children, don't judge a book by its cover
