Never heard of the avant grand, and since you made quite a few typos in the title, I thought that that was just a typo of avant garde.
I'm notifying that it's not long, because your title claimed it to be long, not because it makes the song worse.

And what would I change? Scrap the crying sounds, or at least lessen their use. They add nothing to the song, other than annoyance.
Add more variety, since right now it's just one or two keyboard tracks playing chords while, perhaps by adding more instruments, maybe some percussion, or at least modifying the keyboard's sound a bit during the song.
Also, pan it more. Right now it sounds like a song thats trying to sound open and airy, but it's almost completely stuck in the center.
There's a reason stereo sound is more popular than mono.

That should be a start for you.

Your song isn't innovative because there are people who have made songs with simple synths and sound effects before.
4'33" is innovative, because it's a completely new take on music as a whole.
