Looks pretty cool. I like the way the water looks at the surface and how the city looks in the background. My only thought is that the car on the left looks oddly non convincing, the one on the right is more convincing but the one on the left just doesn't seem to match the lighting enough, as well as the bottom of the car just looks odd. Other than that minor thing, I really liked this piece. It's a rare occasion when I actually enjoy a photo manipulation, so take that as a big compliment from me.
The guy looks out of place.
the lighting on the man is really off, and neither he nor any of the cars actually look under water, and look like they were lobbed in at the last minute
the lighting on the man is really off, and neither he nor any of the cars actually look under water, and look like they were lobbed in at the last minute
What would you suggest to integrate the cars/man into the picture better?
What would you suggest to integrate the cars/man into the picture better?
Change positions so they are in the darker spots of the image, or find a way to highlight them appropriately. The guy too I guess, move him to a spot where he's not in the beam of light shooting from the top maybe?
the cars should be a little more blue and a little bit more washed out I think..
What would you suggest to integrate the cars/man into the picture better?
first off, they're too boldly noticeable and contrasty compared to the purple light. so, what i would do to them is fade them more into that sort of purpley color, make the car furthest away the same color as the ground, maybe blur it a little more. the car in the foreground mostly just needs to be faded. the man looks like he has 0 shading from the light that's coming down, and, again, still too dark.
Reminds me of 'Water World' from but you can see more of the underside of it :D
Looks alright, but the entire picture screams Photoshop, kind of damages the surreality a picture like that should impose.
I think you need to do some work on the car on the right, it doesn't convince me, but overall i like it
the real problem is the layering the light rays appear to be going in front of the car but the car's layer is still above the rays.
The guy looks out of place.
Humans, (at least most of them) don't live in underwater.
Humans, (at least most of them) don't live in underwater.
mister literal
Good for a V1. needs a lot more work though.
The guy doesn't bother me too much, but the position of the right car is really off, like it should look more like it is half in the sand right now it just looks like it was cut in half and positioned by the ground.
thanks for all the suggestions guys but it seems I've lost the raw file so this is it =\ I'll call this one a failure.
