This is just as bad as Csgolotto. Really wish other big youtubers would pick the story up. Last time it really blew up only after H3H3 covered it. And then everyone else, TB, Jim Sterling etc. Really hope theses guys get actual punishement unlike the last fuckers. The market generated around Valve cosmetics are legit some of the shadiest shit in gaming.

Especially when it comes to something like this. I've seen a couple of people posting it on FB as if it was something amazing or cool. I guess in this case, it just means you have a lot of disposable income you don't mind literally burning away. Still, rich or not, I'd rather spend it on something worth it, be it useful or not, or just not spend it at all, instead of having it disappear in gambling, of all things. Unless you actually know what you're doing, gambling imo is a waste of time and money.

Sorry to go "BACK IN MY DAYSS UGH" but when I was a kid I was obsessed with 100%ing nintendo games, not getting turned into a compulsive gambler. This shit is so disgusting and valve doesn't give a fuck. I really think this is gonna screw up a ton of people for life, both mentaly and economicaly. Turn them into awful spenders who waste their money on addictive trivial stuff instead of saving up in an economy more and more rigged against them

Thankfully people are selling their skins cheap and buying cases! Selling most drops and maybe $15 can get decent quality skins for your most used weapons. Was actually thinking of cracking open some cases as a stupid christmas money waste, the simulator has definitely changed that idea.
