I think Doug overdoes his videos a bit now, but this one was alright.
I'll give him +1 for the Trolls 2 reference and another +1 for pointing of obvious scares. but -10 for unawsomeing Trogdor.
I love this movie, I have watched it every Halloween since I was born.
it is pretty dumb though.
What about Rimshot?!

RIMSHOT WILL LIVE! *Throws up arms and cheers*
I saw this for my bad movie night's "OK movie night", and it was OK (silly, but OK); especially compared to the normal dreck we get. It may not have as much heart as the Ernest Saves Christmas, but it still at least has a little, and even though the scares were cliche/predictable, a few of the movie night patrons were still scared anyway.
As for the review, it's good and all, but Doug seems to have left out the subplot where Ernest buys troll traps from those two guys. Perhaps it was cut because, as he mentioned, he hates the replacement guy, or perhaps it was a run-time issue, but it would've been nice to riff on their insincerity as they sell the troll traps (apparently lying about how they used to be troll trappers in the past), only to later reveal [sp]that these guys weren't insincere or lying at all: they really were out to get these trolls for a big reward[/sp]. Perhaps he'll explain it in a commentary.
Sudden appearance by Douchy McNitpick was funny and relevant.
Helms Deep part was awesome
