I'm selling my guitar and have been asked whether it has EMG pickups. However, i'm not sure what an EMG pickup is or how to find out if I have them.
Perhaps someone on here could let me know?
EMG are a pickup brand, if it doesn't say EMG on it then its not an EMG pickup.

It's easy to find out. Get your quitar, look at the pickups. Does it say EMG on the pickups? If so, you have EMG pickups. Also, it's just a brand of pickups. Nothing special there.
Legacy guitars are supposed to have EMG pickups, but yuh, just check
