Hey again! I've got yet another animation about video games! This time the focus was more on realism.
There's 15 games and 23 locations this time. See if you can recognize some!
I hope you like it! Tell me what you think and make sure to hit the HD button.

I'll upload a breakdown on YouTube in a week or two! If you're curious, I used Cinema 4D for all the modelling, animating, textures and shading. Rendered with Vray and sculpted in Zbrush. All done in my spare time over the course of 6 months.
Also make sure to watch the prequel
Thanks!
Fuck that was great, well done man
my favourite one was the walking dead, it's interesting to see it in a non-comic book style
Beautiful, that was really awesome. Think I recognised them all apart from the first location at the house.
It's quite good, though I have to say that the dragon flight looked a bit odd.
Didn't recognize them all but here's a list of stuff I got, in order.
[sp]
- TLOU's Hidden Pines Corral
- Joel's old house interior ?
- Michael's house
- Something that looked out of Mafia 2, or LA Noire
- Tenpenny Tower (without the fortifications)
- Old fucked up Vault 101
- Kleiner's lab
- The appartments
- The canals
- Not sure, Alan Wake ?
- Skyrim Environment
- Windhelm
- Riverwood
- Jacknife
- The Stanley Parable museum and offices
- Clem's house
- Dunwall Imperial Palace
- Not sure, DayZ related ?
- That hitman clown mission
- Dark Carnival
- Argus
[/sp]
Did I get any of them wrong ?
The palace that you see after Clems house is from Dishonored, like the very beginning of the game
Good work on whoever made the music too, they all fit the tone of the games

Dunwall Tower.
Also that 1920s scene was from Mafia 1.
I honestly didn't want the video to end. That was so great. I did think the colossus walking at the end was a little awkward and slightly off, but otherwise, it was all absolutely fantastic. Great creativity. I would love to see more Shadow of the Colossus just because that was my favorite game for the longest time.
This is going to be huge.
I am thoroughly stunned at this, good fucking show. I can't wait for more of this, it's too good.
Man every time I see Alan Wake shit I always get super hyped up
this was fantastic dude, keep it up
That was utterly fantastic. Well done. Been a fan of your stuff for yeeeaars.
Was hoping for a Dark Souls one at the back of my mind saying the architecture and areas in those games are very memorable.
Pretty amazing.
Part of me was hoping to see something from morrowind in there when skyrim popped up
You could definitely bullshit a half-life 3 trailer with those assets and camerawork. Great stuff.
The Alan Wake lodge was really incredible, I was just looking at it in free camera mode a few days ago and I have to say how accurate your version is. TLOU ranch was beautiful too, the foliage was very realistic. [sp]The faint voices from the games were also a pretty cool touch, helped me recognize one.[/sp]
Funny, with Mirror's Edge you can't tell if that's CGI and Rendered or in-game
Seeing Clemetine's house made me sad, she seems like she would've had a great childhood if not for the zombies.
All of the outside shots are absolutely stunning, but I do have some CC on a few interiors.
at 0:57 there seems to be a lack of material definition, looks very "flat" coloured. And at 1:09 the lighting feels like it has trouble bringing out any "perceived" depth, the doors probably need a bit more done to them as they look a bit flat.
The only thing I spotted was the wagons wheels, they look unfinished.
Then the rain hit and I forgot about them. :v:
Yeah some models may look unfinished because they haven't received the time I put into others! Going back and forth between scenes I sometimes forget to polish things.
Here's some extra images from this project.

IMO the graphics of Mirror's Edge 1 looks stunning even today.
tbh i almost forgot the interior of the hidden pines corral was CGI too
this looks really awesome

Are you implying it still isn't? You monster :v:
That was great! Absolutely fantastic. Only ones I didn't know were the first 2. Other than that I knew the rest... Is that bad?

That was that house from that one part with the horses in The Last of Us. And it looks amazing btw.
i almost shed a tear when Mafia came up :')
Really liked the barnacle animation
I managed to guess all of the locations' respective video game sources.
I need to go outside more.
Even worse for me. I haven't played half of the games and I recognized them :v:
