So I went to sleep yesterday, at 5 AM, and there was a bug on one side of my bed. I am really grossed out by bugs, so I just used my small yet powerful fan to blow him away and out of the window. Now, I didn't want to sleep on where he was, but I was so tired, that I just decided to sleep on one side of the bed (a one-person bed), instead of changing the bedsheet or whatever it's called. I slept on the side, which I never do, since I don't have much room. To be precise, I slept on my left side, so that my right arm was above.
I woke up in the early morning, with a funny feeling in my arm. I tried to move it, but it felt heavy, so I held it with my other arm, and then realize that I can't feel anything on the right arm. It felt paralyzed, I tried to move it around a little using my other arm, but I felt nothing. Then I realized "what if it's been like that for some time now, without blood it could be forever paralyzed!". So I immediately started shaking it violently with my other arm, thinking that if I lose my right arm, I can't play video games anymore, can't write properly, can't masturbate!!! They'd probably have to cut it off too, and I would look weird, I can't lose this arm!
After a few horrific seconds I could feel my blood flowing there, I tried moving it on its own but only the part that is attached to the shoulder could move, and it felt weird to move. I then held on to the forearm, the part attached to the elbow, and violently shook it as well. I could move that too! I did the same with my hand, and could move my fingers as well after a few seconds. The sudden rush of blood across my arm was very warm. I stopped after I could move everything, and very quickly it felt like it was getting paralyzed again!
So for a few minutes I just sat there on my bed, shaking parts of my arm violently when they became numb, until the blood stayed there. It still feels weird, and I keep moving it every few seconds just in case, I'm guessing it will pass in an hour or so.
If I had woken up a few minutes too late, I might have lost my arm. Just thinking about this scares me, and I'll never sleep on my side again.
The weird thing is, that the paralyzed arm wasn't the one I was "sleeping on", but the one that rested on me.

The first thing you think of when you thought you might not have a right hand anymore is that you couldnt play video games anymore? What about, anything really? Eating? Driving? Being a helpful member of society?!
It's very common, it's happened to me before too.
Eating is easy with the left hand, driving is too with practice I think, but for video games you need both of your hands, and especially the right hand, to play most of them properly.
Wow, just wow.
I call Linelor on this one. This story is a lie.
God. My heart stopped. Im sorry :(
Wait, did you wake up on your right side laying on your arm?
I slept on my left side, so that my left arm was below my body, and the right arm on it, and the right arm was "paralyzed" :pwn:.
I call Linelor on this one. This story is a lie.
It's not :saddowns:
Lie, false tales. Pics or get out.
You left out the part where you screamed, arm in the air "This is all Hamas' fault!"
here is the story of how i almost died:
i saw a policeman with a gun! he could have easily pulled it out and shot me with it! i thought you guys might want to know

Even if I would take pictures of my arm it wouldn't prove that it is or was paralyzed.
You left out the part where you screamed, arm in the air "This is all Hamas' fault!"
Everything is the Hamas' fault, that's pretty obvious.

I love your posts
It's like wise adages wrapped in the disguise of shitposts while still being funny
OP your fucking dumb, it takes hours on garroted arm for the tissues to start dieing. Sleeping on your arm just cuts the blood flow a bit, it isnt gonna make you lose your arm. Have a box.
Could you please explain how something that happens to a lot of people all of the time, and is perfectly harmless might make you lose your arm?
Your arm is probably just asleep. My arm has done the same thing. Or maybe just a senseless charlie horse. Don't freak, I have had it too. It isn't bad.
what.
THIS IS LIES.
No really you wouldnt lose your arm fool.
You really didn't almost lose your arm.
It wasn't asleep. When my limbs are asleep I can still move them and feel when I touch them with other limbs, but I couldn't move my arm at all, and couldn't feel anything.
Maybe I wouldn't have lost my arm, but I just woke up and I don't know much about human anatomy, so I just panicked :ohdear:
didn't want to sleep on where he was..
Wow, grow some balls.

So you're saying that not being able to move an arm means you cant be a helpful member of society? Nice...
reminded me of the guy who fell asleep with his back on the floor and both his legs were on his couch, both had to be amputated.

You want pics of a arm?
OP is 12
OP is 12
Did he have a massive clogging of every blood-vessel going to his legs at the same time?
No, but looking at your name you are.

Thatsthejoke.jpg
Jokes are supposed to be funny
OP you are an idiot of unmatched magnitude, this happens to me at least 3 times a year. It's normal and you definitely didn't almost lose your arm.
This has happened to me many times when i haven't even slept on side.
I think its pretty cool.
