Well, my mom's friend knows someone who just opened a medicinal marijuana dispensary in Michigan. And I guess she put in a good word about my mom, because my moms been offered to make the edibles for the shop. And my mom being the amazing cook she is, will make the best god damn edibles ever.

Surely there will be regulations and restrictions? The bud/resin/thc would have already been processed and ready to be put straight into the edibles, and if they're strict then surely they will be keeping a very close eye (if not your government) on making sure the amount of thc in the edibles is the same as she is being supplied with... But still, that's pretty fucking epic

As far as the owner being strict, it won't likely happen since they kind of know each other, and have been acquaintances their whole lifes.
But as far as the government, yea, they usually do keep a close eye on this kinda shit.

Cocaine isn't THAT bad. Jesus. It's not great no, but it really doesn't destroy lives compared to Methamphetamine and Heroin, but if you sell it to somebody you love, you're just stopping them from seeking it out from an unscrupulous individual.

If we're gonna have a good atmosphere in the drugs forum, we're gonna have to refrain from being judgemental, it's against the ethos of harm reduction, which is essentially what this forum is.
Tell someone the risks in a factual way, and don't be elitist. Allow them to make their own decision based on facts.

Is this sarcasm? I'm a responsible opiate user. I only use Codeine but it still packs a pretty large punch. I've used 28x 30mg in about a month and the withdrawal was incredibly minor. Just urgent bowel movements and a bit of a headache.
People overstate opiate risks. Opiates are really safe drugs long-term. Their danger is overdose which is quite common but it's due to many factors, not just that it's an opiate.
Codeine is so vastly different to Heroin calling them both opiates seems unfair.
