Well, we all know that North Korea is fucked up, but will the North Koreans ever stop thinking about their goddamn leader? Its so damn stupid that they are suffering so much, yet treating their leader like a god! I say that South Korea invade North Korea and change how they think of the world. But, their first step is to be open minded, and open to the outside world, and have better trade relations with other countries.

the people know no better
They are taught from birth that their leader is a god. When people escape they are awestruck to see how the world works. It's not like they just decide to worship him.
Also I'm not sure South Korea wants part of NK.
north koreans are taught that they are the luckiest people in the world and any land surrounding them is a hellhole, they're too scared to rebel (also starved)
South Korea maybe, but the people of NK are a brainwashed mess sadly. No, I don't think it is possible. But that doesn't mean they can't have friendly/amiable diplomatic relationships.
