Iran has completely cut off its financial aid to the Palestinian militant group Hamas, a senior Hamas official claimed on Monday, according to Israeli media reports.
...the decreased funding from the Islamic Republic comes during warming relations between Hamas, a Sunni Muslim group, and the Sunni powerhouse Saudi Arabia.
Ron Gilran, vice-president at the Tel Aviv-based geopolitical consultancy The Levantine Group, says that the cut in Iranian funding for Hamas is likely to be caused by the Palestinian group's recent rapprochement with Saudi Arabia, and "less linked" with the Iranian nuclear deal.
Shrivel and die Hamas, you won't be missed
Surprised but not surprised. Hamas always was the odd one out in their list of allies. They were always more neglected compared to Hezbollah and Syria where the Iranians would throw everything they have to keep together.
I wonder what Netanyahu will have to say in regards to this decision.

That the US is still dooming them by making any deal with Iran. I mean the US track record with negotiating with Israel's neighbors is unquestionable, how many wars have we caused by arming Egypt, how many conflicts have we sparked by supporting jordan and Lebanon, I mean they certainly should consider how well all that worked out for them before damning the iran-us deal

"They're conserving money for that secret nuke that will bring about another holocaust."
Plus a quote from the supreme leader during one of his crazed anti-west rants, and a barely-relevant Talmud story worked in somewhere

Sounds about right.
I don't like Netanyahu that much, but his voice is weirdly hypnotic.

Oh my God, it's amazing. He sounds like Javier Bardem.
this is very interesting news, sounds like clash over course of future of Iran
let's hope the more pro-science pro-future less-religion-fanatical side wins

"US: Gee, Netanyahu, what do you want to do tonight?
Netanyahu: The same thing we do every night. We're going to bomb gaza!"
Probably an under the table part of the deal we reached with Iran earlier
It's odd that Iran would support Hamas in the first place since Hamas is Sunni and Iran is Shia. I guess the hate of Israel overcomes any religion disagreement.
