Its not "Double-bass" its just two bass drums in two different tunings, depending on the song.
"Double-bass" is using a Twin pedal to play the drum rapidly.

But... that is a double-bass setup... Many drummers use 2 bass drums as opposed to the twin pedals because you get a lot more control over your kicks.
