MSNBC Airs Un-Edited Sandy Hook Father's Testimony After Critics Complain

CNN's Anderson Cooper, for example, originally tweeted that Heslin was "shouted down," but after seeing the full video, he tweeted: "#SandyHook parent wasn't 'shouted down' as I said in previous tweet. He asked for response and audiences members gave it and were admonished."
The network's critics also have been likening the incident to the one last spring where NBC edited a 911 tape to make it appear that George Zimmerman invoked Trayvon Martin’s skin color when he killed him, taking out the portion where the 911 operator specifically asks Zimmerman to describe Martin’s race. The camera then focused on Bashir, who said, "a father's grief interrupted by the cries of a heckler."
The passage as aired by MSNBC received criticism for being deceptive.

This isn't about CNN. This is about a News station, MSNBC, that has been caught lying for the 3rd time, using the same method.
Surely, you'd trust the NFL to tell you the truth about the game you watched, right? So why would you give MSNBC a free pass 3 times?

People blindly believing major news companies in general is a stupid idea.
By the time a major company picks it up, it's bounced off so many sources that it might as well be fantasy. The 'live' reports can be staged or scripted to completely alter or dramatize a point.
Unless NBC or one of these major news companies is about to get brutally sued or have something major happen; I don't think anyone really cares or is surprised when they outright lie. A bit of a sad notion, at that.
