Holy shit I just read a bunch of stuff about this and now I'm terrified.
Jesus christ, give that poor man some morphine
An artist's representation of a cluster headache. No but seriously, I've read that people who have these, specifically women, say it's worse than giving birth. They're also called "suicide headaches", bet you can't guess why. I've also read that medicinal shrooms can help relieve the pain.
Jesus christ, give that poor man some morphine
Psilocybin, the active compound in psychoactive mushrooms, has been proven to be very effective against cluster headaches.
My mom and dad make those sounds every night

That reminds me of a severe throat infection I once had. Fucking pain that never stops, you can't think talk or do anything properly, an all you can think of is how long it will last. Any illness that gives a person constant agonizing pain is horrible
Psilocybin, the active compound in psychoactive mushrooms, has been proven to be very effective against cluster headaches.
The side effects of that substance (Very powerful hallucinations) are quite bad. Morphine doesn't give any hallucinations from what I've heard
crikey, i woke up with migraine today. i can't even begin to imagine something that's even worse!
The side effects of that substance (Very powerful hallucinations) are quite bad. Morphine doesn't give any hallucinations from what I've heard
what do you even know what you're talking about? you rarely hear people describe a psilocybin trip as bad and why would you take morphine over something that doesn't harm you???
what do you even know what you're talking about? you rarely hear people describe a psilocybin trip as bad and why would you take morphine over something that doesn't harm you???
are you implying that you can't have bad trips with pscilocybin?
are you implying that you can't have bad trips with pscilocybin?
no but he was implying that they're always bad trips or are you just going to go all "DURGS ARE BAD UNLESS MADE BY GOV'MENT" on me [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] hence "you rarely hear", guessing reading aint a strong point for you
This guy have some Youtube videos about his cluster headache. He just had a surgery. This is an older video from 2009.
I used to have these semi clusters or ice pick pains in the head but like most chronics, you feel so alone and no one can help you through it ideally. That's when you know you've had it bad. When you've gone through pain unmatched, to still be alive after all that anguish just so you can die another day takes the piss.
The side effects of that substance (Very powerful hallucinations) are quite bad. Morphine doesn't give any hallucinations from what I've heard
You could just take a mild dose, you know. Eating a shroom doesn't mean you'll instantly trip balls and have a bad trip
The side effects of that substance (Very powerful hallucinations) are quite bad. Morphine doesn't give any hallucinations from what I've heard
Even if you experience the hallucinations as bad, there's no permanent effect on you. There are people that are more likely to have a bad trip, but even then there's no better alternative. The guy in the video i posted takes about 1 mushroom in 2 months. That's pretty damn effective for something that's not addictive. Morphine is pretty much heroin. You'd have to take it every time you get a cluster headache (up to 8 a day) and it probably only reduces the pain. Thankfully here in The Netherlands it's legal to grow and own magic shroom. You just can't have it dried because then it's classified as hard drug. It's good to know people are allowed to help themselves.
Jesus christ, give that poor man some morphine
My dad gets them every year around spring, to get rid of them the hospital gives him a tank of oxygen, I dunno why but that clears them out pretty well.
Bromo-LSD, aka LSD that doesn't make you trip has a similar effect in treatment!
I know someone who gets these. Seeing someone have a "episode" is heartwrenching, you see them in unfathomable pain yet nearly any comfort short of medication only serves to increase the pain or do nothing for it. Really makes migraines seem like a walk in the park.
I get these. They don't happen very often for me, but I had them all my life. I usually take loads of ibuprofen and drink tons of water to make the pain go away, but that takes 1-2 hours for it to take effect if the effect works.
I feel so bad for him.
There is no way that I'm watching these. It looks too unbearable.
My head started feeling uncomfortable just from watching these.
