Yeah so I wanted to get Just Cause 2 but I don't know if I should get it for PS3 or Xbox 360, any recommendations or reasons why I should get it on a certain console?

Get it for the PC if you have a PC that can handle it. Mods extend the game's replay value significantly.
If you can`t get it on PC, then just get it for the console with the controller you like better. It doesn't really matter what console you get it for because they`re pretty much the same.
I got it on the ps3 because my computer sucks. I have not played the 360 version, but the recording feature is nice, and I think it's only on the ps3.
Yeah I can't really get it for PC (no memory from downloading stuff like Bioshock, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Half-Life 2, etc.) and I don't really care about achievements or trophys so I might just get it for PS3 since I only have like 4 games for it and well over 15 Xbox games. The only real doubt I have was the controller. It seems more comfortable on 360... now I'm stuck again...
360 might have dlc. Just saying.
I've always liked the Dualshock better, but that's just me. Get it for whatever you want. If you see a sale, jump for it.

+ Has more memory than my limited Xbox
- Has a video feature that I probably won't use
+ Gives me another game for my PS3 (which only has 4 now)
= Might or might not have DLC which I probably won't get unless it's free anyway
- Not so comfortable controls (in my opinion)
Xbox:
= Achievements that don't really make a difference for me
+ More comfortable controls (in my opinion)
- Another game to add to my vast Xbox library

I rented it for the 360, it lost its edge during my 1 week play. I am glad that I did not buy it.

If you cant get if for the PC:
PS3 if you want the ability to record footage and upload it to youtube.
or
Xbox360 if you want DLCs
Pc should be your first option.
If not, it doesn't really mater too much.
Probably the 360 version.
