This is possibly real footage. It looks quite similar to the one that was shown a few years back
THE best movie license game.
King Kong on the Ps2 was pretty good
They did that fantastic Perfect Dark remake for XBLA so it's highly likely.
Also didn't they do a semi-remake of it using the Daniel Craig bond a while back? I remember it being terrible.

I find it a travesty that its been out of print for so long, and there isn't much effort to try and reverse it. It doesn't make much financial sense either as its just lost revenue for both the publisher and the studio.

That shit was intense, Spiderman 1 and 2 were pretty good as well along with the Harry Potter games
Wait is this another remake? Cause I'm actually interested in this.
I've always preferred Perfect Dark but it sucks that this remake never got released, it looks good.

I may be wrong but this was supposed to be the port/remake handled by Rare personally for the 360.
It got canned because of licensing problems with Nintendo and Activision.

I love Perfect Dark too though I'd like to see that in-game graphics switch with Perfect Dark like what they did here with Goldeneye. Probably inspired the Halo remasters.
It looks like a 1:1 port from the N64 but with better visuals. I can dig it
I want to see the Frigate level
Makes me want to watch the opening of Goldeneye again. Great bond movie opener, probably the last one that felt like a Bond opening scene
Honestly the remake as a whole looks real cool, but those mocap animations look jarring now in 60 FPS.
And seeing the original graphics during the brief switches is even more so since the game's got none of that slowdown.

I wish I could have this for the single player missions. Goldeneye Source has amazingly fun multiplayer though.
as for the movie, it is definitely my favorite Bond film, and in my opinion the only good Pierce Brosnan one.

While we won't be seeing any single player from it, Goldeneye: Source did a fantastic job of improving both the visuals and gameplay of the original. Perfect Dark: Source did great on visuals, but may that blessed mod rest in peace.
It doesn't come as a big surprise to me that the Goldeneye remake was never released. Games in the Bond series has always been plagued by licensing with the rights jumping between publishers, causing things like digital games to get silently pulled from stores once contracts are up. Though, it's likely thanks to this that the Source mod hasn't gotten the axe.

I'm quite happy that Goldeneye: Source didn't get shit canned, as I have not played the original Goldeneye multiplayer in years, since I was a kid really. So really Goldeneye: Source is now for me the closest thing to the original multiplayer compared, to well... this. Though Goldeneye: Source is still quite impressive, and shows many improvements.
It even has the Tazer Boy texture bug, that's amazing.
Something looks super odd compared to the Perfect Dark remake in terms of graphics, must be those odd looking hands
Everything looks like a texture pack
I'm still confused by the whole legal reasons behind why this game won't just be on the Xbox.
nintendo still had the rights at that time afaik
you know how they are when people try to release their games on other consoles
according to wiki they (microsoft) haven't even put the effort to get the rights after that game was shut down
What about Perfect Dark though
from what I've read, i'm guessing rare (bought by microsoft) owned perfect dark, but nintendo still owned goldeneye

And also Activision owned the license to any 007 video games.
Nintendo is the one who said no. They told Activision that this could be a threat to their relationship, so Activision blocked the release of the game. In fact, Activision was on board to publish the game on Xbox Live Arcade. Until Nintendo stepped in. Heck Rare even offered a Wii port.
Egh I always got caught off guard by those explosions that magically burn in the air for a few seconds afterward. I swear that shit got carried right over into TimeSplitters as well.
Oh my god even the bullet holes in the glass are on point. Watching this video makes me feel like an eight-year old again. Shame about no release, but that ain't my jurisdiction.

I don't see why Nintendo said no (well, according to people, Nintendo of Japan specifically) and lost this opportunity to make quite a handful of money, if Rare was also going to give a Wii port too.
BRB WATCHING GOLDENEYE ON VHS

Don't forget the fuckin Riddick games man
Don't forget the fuckin Riddick games man
Those weren't movie license games though, those were just character license games.
