Hello there! I got an FZ45 Camera for Christmas... Just like I asked Santa. And I have since been wondering wether I can use my HP laptop as a moniter for my Camera. I have a HDMI>MiniHDMI converter and an HDMI lead. It is not as simple as plugging them in, as it does not work. Thanks in advance -Jack [editline]7th January 2012[/editline] Okay, I also have a 19" HDTV I would like to use, HDMI doesn't work )': Unless I'm doing something wrong

People around here find it quite annoying. Other than that, welcome to the photography game man! What exactly do you mean by a 'moniter' though? i'm confused

I can only view playback on my TV and I would like to use it as a screen so I can see what I am filming whilst I am filming; on the TV or my Laptop.

And doesn't your camera have a viewfinder or something? cant you just look at the screen whilst you film? I'm probably not the person to ask to help you set this sort of stuff up as i never really use it.

But I don't want to use the standard 3.5" Camera screen or Viewfinder because details are easily missed whilst looking at such a small screen
