Some guy is using http://www.steamcommunityteamdevildogz.tk to get steam accounts, then sends it to others using the phished accounts.
It looks exactly like the Steam login screen, but once you log in, the guy's got your account information.
Just wanted to spread this out because I myself got hacked, but luckily changed my password.

Oh no!!!
You sir, are an idiot.
This has never happened before.
There are tons of em.
if you fall for this you don't deserve a steam account
Theres nothing bad about being hacked, we'll there is but not exactly. Honestly if you ever bought anything on your account you can get it back easily.
Report that shit, homes.
Here is a really good plan, rather than complaining about it just send it into steam support and let them handle it, also report the guy who sends it to you.
Well obviously I wasn't really paying attention, partly my fault, but I'm sure no one else wants their steam account gone, so I'll weather the "you're an idiot, you're late, you're etc.." shit if it saves someone's account.

I don't think I would, I don't print the information when I buy things. But, then again, I don't log into Steam on webpages. I click around for a bit first, make sure that the "STEAM INC." thing is in the address bar, try to find if there's a way I can get to that page via Steam.exe, and if I can't and the site is the real deal by Steam, I finally log in using the site. I have, honestly, possibly over $1000 in Steam games on my account.
This happened to my friend last week, saying he could get free games from Steam.
How'd you fall for this?!?
Wasn't paying attention, doing project, just wanted to check it out really quick.
Thought it was just steam asking me to log in to see the group.
Thanks OP, this loads much faster than steamcommunity.com, it's a great replacement! Bookmarked.
This is new and unheard of.
if you were smart you would have closed the chat as soon as you saw .tk
One way to find out if its real or not: check if it ends with .tk if it does don't click it and if you click it and fall for it you are a retarded mutant child.
dose phising men u get fishing gam???
XD
lol i am go to sit and let it kno my stem acount detals i want fre stem gam
Still should alert people, obviously everyone isn't computer savvy enough to know that .tk websites are full of shit.

dank u 4 d fre game!!!
XD ty very much
No idea what you're saying. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be sarcastically funny
I don't get how people fall for these things every fucking time. We post warnings all the time. I've got my account when HL2 was released and to this day I've never had it stolen from me.
I just don't get how people fall for this. I mean hell even the end of the link says .tk not .com and the whole devildogs should really be the main give away. If you lose your account you deserve it.

Maybe.
Oh boy it's a .tk site.
I didn't lose it, my account was linked to my email so I managed to change my password.
Yeah, I admit it was a big fault of mine, not paying attention at all or anything, but still, I'll tell everyone else even though all I'll get is "lulz XD u wented fre gaem u dumb"
I have never gotten my steam account stolen too, this is actually the first time. I've had it since '07.
fuck u got me
omg dis a gud dill!!!!!
XD dis game is so gr- omg it deleted my steam nooo
ewhy cant iw login?
Mods need to make a rule for permanent bans for threads like these. If these kids are stupid enough to login to a website that isn't Steampowered.com, that's their fault and it isn't their fucking obligation to create a thread about it.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
