Looks interesting
Doesn't look too bad. I like how they count explosions as a feature though. That bit was pretty funny. [editline]04:51PM[/editline] Key feature*

I might get this i hope gaming mill reviews it Gaming Mill Skill
The asking price is ridiculous for what is most likely a low budget game.
Does anyone know if this game has physics to its destruction or are the buildings falling down animated?
Does anyone know if this game has physics to its destruction or are the buildings falling down animated?
Probably has physics judging from the screenshots. But if it's animated it's not worth 20 dollars.

Also for anyone who wants to try this there is a demo on the sight I linked.
This makes it on. Star Ruler does not. Me: [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/why.jpg[/img_thumb]
It actually looks kinda interesting but i'm going to need a demo or at least a couple of trailers before even thinking of buying it.
Demo posted 2 posts above you. It's okay but I need to try a full version before I'm satisfied.

This actually looks like it could be fun. I mean, I get to take down a building by drilling the shit outta it? Sign me the fuck up.
Anyone know if the DLC on http://www.demolitioncompany-thegame.com/index.php will work with the steam version ? I watched the trailer and theres a gravity gun of some sort
Wow with that DLC this game looks really promising.

I watched the trailer and theres a gravity gun of some sort
I was wondering the same thing. Anyways, I bought the game and it's a blast. It's allot like Red Faction Guerrilla but no one tries to kill you when you when you bring down buildings. The physics are better then in RFG in that the rubble stays in place. The best part is there are mod tools so you can make your own levels and equipment. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes to destroy things with heavy machinery.
This game is awesome. On one of the buildings, I stacked 8 of each explosive on top of eachother and detonated it. The building was no longer in existence.
Imagine if this game used DMM
looked fun until i watched the trailer the destruction doesn't look satisfying at all
Imagine if this game used DMM
It'd still be shitty. DMM does not make up for the lack of proper lighting / any shaders what so ever.
Gonna get the demo! :what:
It looks terrible really, I mean all of the predefined pieces breaking off, no small pieces of debris or dust.
A game of this type has serious potential, it just hasn't been executed right yet.
It looks terrible really, I mean all of the predefined pieces breaking off, no small pieces of debris or dust.
Actually play the game. There are realistic physics, better than red faction guerilla really. [editline]11:40PM[/editline] This game pulls off destruction just fine. But it isn't like going around blowing shit up. You have contracts to fullfill. One of the missions is you have to go around knocking down some walls with sledgehammers, other missions have you doing precise destruction.
Probably has physics judging from the screenshots. But if it's animated it's not worth 20 dollars.
Its only single players too, not multiplayer.
Bah, the fucking textures stretch on the demo, my graphics card is shite.
Its only single players too, not multiplayer.
If it has a good singleplayer it's worth 20. I bought Metro 2033 and it was worth every penny and it didn't include multiplayer. Off topic rant: I hate people these days that say a game is shit because it has no multiplayer. I was describing Metro 2033 in school one day to a bunch of people and one asked "Does it have multiplayer?" and I replied no and they all said the game sucked.
This game is also easily moddable, I think. See here: http://www.dc-mods.de/downloads.php

All you do in the damn game is break things and blow shit up. Repetetive much?
