definite highlight of this video: they introduce a krogan whose voice is just a normal guy's (girl's?) voice with a lisp. previously i thought this was a stereotype gay krogan but apparently there are girl krogans now (citation needed). i thought female krogans were kept away due to the genophage until the middle of mass effect 3 but fuck canon i guess.
other great things include npcs standing around in idle poses, sometimes jerking their arms around in (emotion), staring blankly at you as they remain perfectly still with only their mouths moving. you can even check out some npcs doing nothing at the club, watching an npc on stage doing nothing. hands clipping through hips.
i thought that was a girl krogan?

gril krogans wear a veil over their face
There's no way they did that gay krogan on purpose.

fem krogans are also so extremely rare due to the genophage (by the time this particular ship leaves for its voyage) and are required to sit around and be house wives (or... cave wives or whatever) to prevent the extinction of their own race. in their culture there is no "but women need to go out to space and do space things too"; this is literally life or death. if this krogan is a woman that means ME:A completely ignores previously established canon.

Wow, Joe the Krogan, that's nice. Looks like someone forgot to add filters.

Is that a line someone real actually voiced?

And this looks like they forgot to add proper animation. Fuck's sake, this is going to be a disaster. Glitches and bugs in promotional materials.

Sounds like it could be a Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams line if delivered differently.

i like the unintentional implication that your father, smart scientist man, wrote this and that he might have been an idiot all along. you just stumbled upon his hidden stupidity.
It also sounds like its Liara's VA.

I am convinced that Bioware is completely unable to 3d model women.
That's one incredibly weak choice of voice actor for the Krogan at 2:00.
Makes it look like a puppet that somebody else is talking through.

i think I found the reason why Tali's face was just a photoshop

As a hardcore Talimancer, I'm actually sorta like, hindsight-relieved.

Now how did I manage to completely forget that one? Boy, ME3 was so great some of its greatness managed to erase itself from my memory entirely.
That Krogan's voice, hahahahahha
The human had bizarre, stilted dialogue and a really poorly done model, the Krogan sounded off, and the Turian sounded bored reading his lines. I don't get it. There are some parts of this game that are well voiced, well-modeled, and well animated then there are some parts that are just embarrassingly bad.

How are you going to populate a new galaxy without any female krogan? I mean in this specific context it seems like they would bring them. Or else there shouldn't be any krogan at all in Andromeda, which I'm not saying is a bad thing but if they're there then there should also be female krogan with them.
It's our lives, our foothold, get there rider, pathfind, we're dying.
Just the delivery of these already weakly written lines just sounds so soulless, the lack of any flare to the facial animations makes me think that this is getting rushed out the door.
everyone sounds dead inside, lifeless
"get out there rider pathfind we're dying"
completely straight face, no emotion
this is amazingly bad
The turian's eyes were clipping through his face.:goodjob:
It seems like they put no effort into the animations at all.
Fucking Shepard and the characters in the previous games were more expressive than this. It's like they either saved facial flexes for companions / real cutscenes, or just figured, "Hey, our characters look next-gen enough, don't bother with much else than blinking or lip sync."

uhh yeah i guess this possible. it's just really strange to see krogan do much of anything other than being soldiers or bodyguards. it's pretty well established that this is all they know how to do. unless they just plucked this one out of the new galaxy, which is basically "fuck any lore you knew"-land. if this krogan is female then i guess this galaxy cured the genophage. or didn't have one at all. otherwise she wouldn't be on the nexus; she'd be breeding.
The krogan is female, and they aren't required to wear a veil, also Nakmor apparently does things differently to begin with which is probably why almost their entire clan is coming along for the ride, basically a means for BW to retcon a "progressive" clan that was already doing Wrex style stuff since the day Wrex took power.
Basically awkward political hamfisting as "compelling and sensitive world building" as only BW can.
you know with the added freedom of having an entire new galaxy they could've come up with new races but nah.
What if the krogan is just someone who identifies as a krogan, and has their own cosplay krogan suit? I mean, it's not like Bioware forgot that Krogans are supposed to sound tough... right?
At this point, I wouldn't even mind if Andormeda was delayed for 10 years just so Bioware can give life to their faces(and voices).
Jesus Christ, this video proves to me how effortless a lot of the game really seems to be. Is this really the standard of quality Bioware wants to meet? They'd almost be better off burning the money they spent on developing this game.
I really, really want to like this game, since I think at its core Mass Effect is a great game series waiting to happen, but I'm getting sick of the new Bioware game tropes proving true, not to mention the obvious lack of quality control.

This chick is literally a fucking robot, and I'd be willing to wager she isn't the only example of an emotionless and practically robotic character in the game.
Got a feeling that they are purely funding this game on hype money
This just keeps looking worse and worse with each trailer.
