• Trump considering creating super PACs to ensure neither Cruz nor Kasich ever get elected again
Donald Trump plans to create and fund super-PACs specifically aimed at ending the political careers of Ted Cruz and John Kasich should either run for office again, after both snubbed the Republican nominee during his party's convention this week, a source familiar with Trump’s thinking told Bloomberg Politics on Friday. The plan would involve Trump investing millions of his own money --perhaps $20 million or more -- in one or two outside groups about six months before their respective election days if Texas Senator Cruz or Ohio Governor Kasich stand for office again. The source said Trump is willing to set up two separate super-PACs – one for Cruz and one for Kasich – and put millions into each. The source said that despite another former nomination rival Jeb Bush skipping the national convention and refusing to back the Republican nominee, Trump “does not care” about doing the same against Bush because the former Florida governor is already “destroyed.” During an event in Cleveland on Friday, Trump hinted at the prospect of funding an outside group against Cruz in the future. “Maybe I’ll set up a super-PAC if he decides to run,” Trump said of Cruz. Turning to his running mate Mike Pence he asked rhetorically, “Are you allowed to set up a super-PAC…if you are the president, to fight someone?”
http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-07-22/trump-would-fund-super-pacs-aimed-at-taking-down-cruz-kasich-iqybu9m1
So Super-PACs are okay if you're Trump and have a grudge, but they're awful in any other situation? Hypocritical, spiteful, narcissistic little shit.
He's more like a mobster than the statesman he thinks himself as.
I guess some people can't take a joke. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump actually did it though.
I guess some people can't take a joke. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump actually did it though.
You planning to take over from orgornot?
I guess some people can't take a joke. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump actually did it though.
"It's just a prank bro, honest!" When will he actually stick to something he previously said instead of flip-flopping all over the place?
What an excellent example for why PACs should be dismantled completely. [editline]23rd July 2016[/editline] Well maybe just getting rid of super-PACs, I'd be okay with that.
You planning to take over from orgornot?
I've been supporting Trump since last August, so I believe I came first anyway.
Henceforth, Trump shall be known as PAC Man.
Everything in our election system needs to be dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up.
Two major candidates pushed for electoral reform. One, Sanders, represented the interests of the American public, but dropped out of the race. The other one is the ugly face of corporate America who gained popularity due to his showmanship. Were I American, I'd rather vote for Hillary and have more of the same old bullshit than vote for Trump and have him turn the country into his personal piggybank. I wouldn't touch any reform he proposes with a ten-foot pole.
This will be how Trump deals with other nations as well. His ego can't take any kind of assault and he will lash out at everything.
President Trump, on his deathbed, utters his final words: "It was... just... a prank..."

That's the only thing Trump had! ONLY THING! He was all about taking money out of politics. Yet here he is, openly declaring he will create major funding campaigns to get rid of his political dissenters. Can we just not hold the election this year? I'd rather have an empty chair in the oval office. No joke, dead serious, the Presidential Office Chair is more fit to lead the country than either of the asses vying to sit in it.
This article source is literally just some dude who "familiar with Trump's thinking"? All the information derived is just "this person said Trump would". What a joke of an article.

Be consistent with your criticisms, please.
Never seems to bother you when anonymous unverified DNC sources say Hillary will actually follow through with the TPP and so on. I'd fund Cruz and Kasich just to spite Trump.
a source familiar with Trump’s thinking told Bloomberg Politics on Friday.
What absolute clickbait, including an absolutely clickbait title. If I say that I'm familiar with Clinton's thinking, can I claim that she's secretly planning on conquering the Earth before sending it as a gift to the lizard-aliens on the moon?

If I say that I'm familiar with Clinton's thinking, can I claim that she's secretly planning on conquering the Earth before sending it as a gift to the lizard-aliens on the moon?
If you were a source with the Clinton campaign and hours later Clinton looked to her VP and asked if it was possible for the president to give the earth to the lizard-aliens on the moon, yeah. I don't see why the Trumpets in this thread are getting hemmed up on the source when Trump basically said the words himself.
When have I ever posted about Hillary and the TPP lmao, nice try bud, be consistent with you snide condescending posts, please.
Sorry - all the trumpets are starting to sound the same. I start confusing you with orgornot and cody and Martin and so on. If you never posted that - genuinely didn't mean to misrepresent your views, just got it mixed up with someone else.
There isn't anything inherently illegal about this is there? Not saying I like this, but I can't think of any reason why an antipac wouldn't be allowed to exist. It's just a group with the goal of getting someone elected, like any other pact, except that that someone is literally anyone else who stands a chance.

She is not more of the same bullshit, she is much worse than that. Also, the fucking source of this article is, quote:
a person familiar with Trump’s thinking told Bloomberg Politics on Friday
Anybody who replied taking this at face value without reading the article is an idiot, this is an editorial and not news. [editline]24th July 2016[/editline]
So Super-PACs are okay if you're Trump and have a grudge, but they're awful in any other situation? Trump's vindictive attitude towards those who disagree with him is not a good trait for a world leader.
I guess some people can't take a joke. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump actually did it though.
epic hot furry av, check only posts in sh, check supports trump, check the perfect human specimen. im so wet

She is not more of the same bullshit, she is much worse than that.
The same reason people like you say not to vote for Hillary is being used in DEFENSE of Trump. Because Trump has said so many god-awful things, the only way that he could possibly be a better candidate than Hillary, even with all of her corruption, is if he was lying about absolutely everything. I'd rather vote for the person who didn't say they wanted to legalize not only waterboarding but also "more extreme kinds of torture". [editline]24th July 2016[/editline]
Clear example of somebody who doesn't read the article and passes judgement before considering the source.
You mean the article that says this
During an event in Cleveland on Friday, Trump hinted at the prospect of funding an outside group against Cruz in the future. “Maybe I’ll set up a super-PAC if he decides to run,” Trump said of Cruz.
