Hey, I'm 16 years old and 14 stone 2lbs. My height is 6ft 2, and I'm going to begin bodybuilding today. I have naturally broad shoulders (from my dad) but my arms and chest just don't match up to them. Have you guys got any tips? I've managed to save £350, and also got myself some weight gain supplements.
First of all, you've wasted money on the weight gain supplement. Second of all, there's no magic trick, you want bigger arms and chest, start doing curls, dips, bench pressing, that kind of shit.
if you're already 14 stone you shouldnt be getting weight gain supps(unless you plan on becoming a bear) you want big arms and big chest, gotta work out those muscles too get yourself familiarized with the big muscle groups of the body; biceps, triceps, pectoralis major, etc
spend the £350 on steroids
Focus on form.
Is the mention of the $350 because you want to buy your own equipment or just would like to know what way money can benefit bodybuilding?
Firstly, Make a Well Stander Routine, Including All kind of Activities, food is also important case. Take a high Nutritious Diets, Take Small Meal 5 or 6 per day, Do Exercise Correctly, Do work their well stander goal.
Nothing wrong with using weight gain supplement. Maintain good form. Use wrist wraps to protect your wrists.
Weight gain supplements are just generally a waste of money, you can get quality calories from actual food at a fraction of the price for the most part and unless you're some super busy CEO, you don't have much of an excuse to not be able to get a proper meal in. Wrist wraps are alright but I wouldn't recommend them. They can be nice on heavy presses but I feel that it's better to just develop your strength by gradually increasing your lifts and that if your wrists cna't keep up, that you probably shouldn't be lifting that much.
If gaining weight is a problem, getting whole milk would be a cheaper and arguably healthier alternative. Supposing you drink a quart a day, that's about 600 calories and 32 grams protein. Assuming a price of about $4 USD per gallon, that's a dollar a day. Compared to a given weight gain supplement (I'm using 3lbs Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass at $27 USD,) you're getting 1250 calories and 50 g protein per serving, but that's 6.75 a serving! That's 185 calories and 7.4 grams of protein per dollar! The mass gainer also includes a ton of vitamins and minerals but if you're really worried about that just take a multivitamin every day with your milk and you're set. And you don't even have to drink it all at once; just drink a cup of milk every now and then instead of water and you're set.
