I've never really been a bacon person, I mean it smells great but fuck man I really don't like the taste.
I'm more of a breakfast sausage person.
Bacon is overrated imo
I love it as much as the next guy but it's not like
"omg dude bacon is the food of the gods!!!!"

I just don't understand how americans and british people can have such heavy breakfast
like, i know you guys have like sausage with eggs and bagels? hot damn it is WAY too early for that shit those are like lunch foods. I could not get used to it when I first moved here.
in chile we'll just have like some bread with avocado or jelly or butter and maybe coffee or milk but damn i cannot imagine eating sausage for breakfast

It's kind of a toss up in the world. As far as I know, most European countries have had "big breakfasts".
It's not like every family eats the same shit anyway. Honestly, most american families do just eat some toast with butter/jelly or a bowl of cereal. Sausage, eggs, and bacon is definitely not an everyday thing.
I prefer bacon when it's on a sandwich than when it's by itself

Large breakfasts are kind of a special occasion thing, I don't know anyone who has a hot breakfast on a regular basis
The vast majority just have cereal

I usually have half of a bagel with cream cheese and a single fried egg for breakfast, sometimes I'll swap the fried egg for two small pieces of turkey sausage, I usually never eat a large breakfast even if it's on a special occasion since I'll have to run to the bathroom sooner than usual.
bacon is really good unless it's so crispy it's almost ash-like

I feel that good bacon fits this description, but the majority ends up being rubbery or stringy or something like that (in the UK)
