actually, i've been talking to the guy making gm_apocalypse and he said he'd make a version of his map that works with this gamemode. it's a really good looking map.
gm_atomic is nice but it needs a little reworking if it's going to work well with this gamemode.
I've been planning to make a map for this, but I'm finding the bases to be a real pain. I want to create a bunker of sorts for the NMA, and I just don't have the willpower. :frown:

but you join and your in a group, killing is optional and its not all about build, and if you want to build you have to scavenge the wasteland to find said parts.

there isn't much to build anyhow, maps for this gamemode will already have various buildings and stuff made, so players can basically just claim buildings for their faction.
maybe i'll add a system that allows players to claim territory, and make it so you can choose to spawn in any territory zones that you own which aren't under attack. to contest territory, the enemy team would have to stand near the territory for 30 seconds with no contesting players or something.
