Well it was just reported on by the BBC news a couple of hours ago as the link shows, it's a new sport as far as i know. I just thought it was interesting.

It sounds like a fun idea but too gimmicky for me. The transition between the two sports isnt seamless enough for me. How about: you get to hit the enemy each time you beat one of his figures. 1 hit for a pawn, 2 for a horse and etc :v:
I thought the fact that it may become a new Olympic sport would have made it news, i've never heard of it being played in the UK before either, News to me.

Read the article. Pleaaase. Nowhere at all does it state that it may become an Olympic sport, and what it does say isn't news either because EVERY FUCKING SPORT EVER HOPES TO ONE DAY BECOME AN OLYMPIC SPORT.

Ok sorry I forgot chessboxing is obviously something well known and uninteresting and not news to anyone, must be why the BBC posted it. I'm sorry that I made your day much more of a challenge and hope that one day every sport stops trying to reach Olympic level for you as it must be so hard to hear all the time.
