Just something to laugh at.. although I had to stop.. just look, the name of the video is stupid enough.
Lol, this too:

This video really showed me the gravity of the situation.
OMG! God is a conspiracy? 0:14
I love this argument it's hilarious.
"Wow the universe is set up just right for life!"
"Wow if it wasn't you wouldn't be around to discuss it, would you!"
That guy had a really charged ego. He had a lot of potential, too bad he spent that energy on something so bad.
Also, he put so much work and energy into doing that, I bet he had to keep a cool cool head to keep the pressure off
Change gravity a bit I'm sure there would still be life.
Hardly on a razor's edge.

Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!
Hm, I wonder if the universe has existed and unexisted infinity times and just ever so often the properties are able to sustain life

Thats just God at work man.
And oh god, all this kind of bullshit talk is always wrong, they honestly do not understand anything about what they're talking about, they put god on it so that it makes sense to them, which is the exact purpose of God, and MYTHS in the first place
This guy is such an idiot.
He's saying that god exists because life is unlikely. That's not scientific, that's just plain dumb.
God he is making up these proportions, or at least the numbers, fuck this shit
I'm not the type of person to want to put down a christian for their beliefs but when they just try to prove something unprovable it annoys the shit out of me.
I mean I think everyone has the right to believe whatever they want; that is if they don't try to shove it down everyone else's throat.
Haha that's funny, its a hybrid now.

:fireman:
He says a lot of naked numbers, I'm not sure if I can follow him or if anyone can for that matter. 1 part billion billion billion billion billion, what?
I hate this argument. They only think the universe is 'fine tuned for life' because they believe life originated from outside the universe.
They're using their presuppositions about the origin and nature of life to support their presuppositions about the origin and nature of life. Just like all their arguments.
Like Johnny said, the universe isn't fine tuned for life, life is fine tuned for/from the universe.
Suppose the universal constants were finely tuned by a creator.
How does that prove that this undefined creator hates people who perform certain tasks within some time frame based on the rotation of a single planet out of trillions, created by people who were unaware of his existence?

I agree completely. I don't know why they insist on this simplistic world view that anything too complex to comprehend must have an even more complex creator (except of course when dealing with their creator).

Because it's a myth started by the powerful in order to get people to listen to their rules and believe if they go against the status quo then they'd be punished? It's a way leaders get their people to behave and do things they want them to do, there's a reason for every story in every myth book ever, and it's all to get people to think you're important/powerful or just plain get them to behave
Apparently this man doesn't understand adaptations of lifeforms.
These kinds of arguments look at things completely backwards, instead of from the bottom up they look like everything is "finely tuned" rather than "the way things are".
I love his counter-argument to the multi-verse theory.
"Atheists say there might be an an infinite number of invisible universes." "There's no evidence for these invisible universes"
Ironic.

Not all religious people are stupid, just the ones who preach shit like this to people as if they know what they're talking about.

isn't he right though? The guy in the video has no idea what he's talking about, yet some of you guys judge the religion based on this guy and his video.

I'm pretty sure the views of anyone in this thread were not changed by or based off this video.

I don't know what you're talking about the man in this video is one of the smartest religious people I've ever seen, able to manipulate his audience like that with what they consider large words.
Someone needs to read the grand design by stephen hawking.

Yep because making fun of one guy means we are making fun of him and everyone that looks like him right.
