Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann said early Wednesday that she will not run for re-election in 2014.
The Minnesota conservative made the announcement in a video posted on her website.
"After a great deal of thought and deliberation, I have decided next year I will not seek a fifth congressional term," Bachmann said in the 8-and-a-half minute video. "After serious consideration, I am confident that this is the right decision."
Good riddance to bad cess.
Definitely the best decision.

Let's hope that she won't be Bach mann.
And minnesotans rejoiced
And there was much rejoicing.

So, there is a god. Although it still baffles me as to how she was ever elected in the first place.
About damn time. Old hag needs to get out of politics. It would be even better if she would leave my state.

We finally agreed upon something.
Could you guys fill me in on what she did to piss so many people off?
But they're the ones who voted for her?
She represents the Minnesota 6th district. That district is comprised entirely of the suburbs around St. Paul and is pretty much the only 'conservative' area in Minnesota. Even then, she's way too fuckin' conservative for the Sixth district and won by an incredibly small margin in 2012. If she runs again in 2014, she'll lose without a doubt.
That being said, the rest of Minnesota dislikes her. Alot.
We almost won that seat with a 12-1 monetary disadvantage. With several major endorsements of Mr. Graves, we could take it this time around.

I say 'we' because I'm a registered democrat.
She also single handedly destroyed public education and bullying prevention in her district. Disgusting.

Stillwater voted for her. Stillwater is like a cancer bud of republican rural Wisconsin in Minnesota.

As a Stillwater Native I think you're wrong :v:
