Never really impressed by these games. They always have a bad perspective.
The only good thing about Armor core games was designing your mech. The story and gameplay are shite

Invincible big-ass robots destroying and killing the entire army from what I can see
it has better graphics and terrain which is good, ac for answer was very very basic
and four legged mechs didn't walk, they skied along the place which was stupid

I never did understand how the Japanese thought that a 20+ ton walking robot could slide around effortlessly on pavement. That would probably be the same as us trying to walk on crusty thin snow. No way it could actually support our weight.

AC For Answer was my first AC game and I loved the massive mech/machine missions as it was ridiculous. Other than that it was a frustrating game and got boring quickly, I'm not interested in customisation so much.

Yeah, according to Wikipedia the ACs are half the height they normally are. Apparently the game is returning to older roots, using the environment to your advantage by maneuvering through alleyways and other tight areas. Supposedly that means there's also going to be more detail on the street areas.
