Vice can go fuck off. I remember how they wanked around how cool the rebels are and now it turned out that they are all alqaida and Vice went super silent about it.

It was only after the EU and West refused to help that the rebel groups had to turn to them for weapons.
It's almost like the situation in Syria changed drastically from what most people thought towards the start of the war.
Most people thought the rebels are pro-west burger eating "freedom fighters" because uneducated dipshit wannabe gonzo journalists like vice had let themselves gotten too involved in all that sectarian bullshit about who's "bad" and who's "good" so they willingly spread alqaeda propaganda. Same shit happened in libya as well.

When the war started, the only rebel factions taking part in the war were civilians who just wanted to get rid of the Syrian government that was slaughtering women and children in the cruelest of ways. Later on in the war, Mujahadeen forces joined in the war and started training rebels. Mujahadeen forces aren't the only people fighting in Syria right now, but they are there and they are fighting. The war in Syria wasn't started over religion or Alqueda ideologies, it was started because the Syrian military was gunning down protesters and bombing civilian populaces with cluster bombs. The war in Syria was started for the same reason as the war in Libya; Civilians wanting to get rid of oppressive regimes and instill peaceful democracies. You look at Libya and try to tell me that they are an anti-west dictatorship with connections to Mujaheddin forces

Because when they shoot children it's totally in self defense or the defense of their ideology. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/new-extremist-threats-cast-pall-on-libyan-revolution/article8770768/ The point here being that the whole arab spring was a bunch of bollocks that was covered in an overly hollywoodian pathetic way to get easily manipulated liberals to support war and arming of crazy extremists, which should normally run against all their ideals. Because I know how this is going to turn out I'm leaving it at this, because there is no winning in discussions like this. The only solution is to leave the middle east the fuck alone and let them sort out their own fucking problems. Because arming one side NEVER EVER did anything good in that entire region. Be it iran, iraq, the taliban, libyan alqueda or now the fsa, no matter how much it might boil the cheeto crums in your internet-general neckbeard.
Yeah, unlike those brave freedom fighters. Because when they shoot children it's totally in self defense or the defense of their ideology.
If you actually read my post instead of skimming it and making a snarky comment, you'd see that I pointed out that Syrian rebel forces aren't one solid faction, they're made up of dozens of minor factions, within those are Mujaheddin forces. Not all the rebels are freedom fighters, and not all the rebels are terrorists and baby killers. Again, you have absolutely no fucking idea what you're talking about bud.
You won't have a debate with me because you know you're going to lose it. What does that say about your opinion on the Syrian rebels? [editline]2nd January 2014[/editline] From reading your other posts, I'm pretty sure that you're just a try-hard troll.

The fact that they happen to be in the same country does not mean that they fight for the same cause, or with the same methods. But yeah, looking at his other posts it seems like it's alright to just dismiss him as a try-hard troll. Not to mention the fact that he thinks that a single article about some instabilities in Libya somehow discredits your entire point.

I understand the point you are making and it is partially valid but it doesn't exactly help your cause... not like you can respond to me now anyway.
