My cat once ate a little ball of yarn. It passed through her digestive system and one day I got home to find the cat dragging a shit/yarn cluster behind her by a string from her ass. I was a mess.
Well, it had come loose by the time I got home, but the... traces... it left suggested she was chasing/playing with it

This happened to me when I was around 5 years old. I used to have a blanket, and I'd pull the strings off (it was like a knitted wool one) and eat them. One day I was having a shit and got up and realized I had this long piece of string hanging out my ass. I tried pulling it out and it hurt so much I started to cry. I shit you not, out of utter fear and terror, I bolted out the bathroom - string tailing me and all - and went to my mum and asked her what was happening to me, all whilst I was bottomless.
She couldn't stop laughing. She made me sit my arse back on the toilet (after carefully positioning the string back into the toilet) and told me to wait it out.
Such a strange experience.
