Not often does it look good on someone and often times it's not worth the work.
You know, I watched this the other day and I kinda observed 3 things: his hair was better back then, his content is exactly the same bar some slightly fancier graphics, and he was a very mature looking 17 year old coming from an 18 year old that looks about 2 years younger than he did back then.

Caddicarus' DA thumbnail blatantly took like 10 seconds to make. The eyes look copy pasted and the beard is just a preset brush.

He's somewhat right about the mohawk.
Mohawks look like garbage.
the problem i have is that after all this time his channel has not matured whatsoever. Production's gotten better but what he says and how he acts has remained unchanged. It was kind of endearing at first because he was young and new but now it just feels like the channel hasn't really progressed.

I do partially agree with you. However, Caddicarus has managed to retain a unique style with fast paced editing and obvious but well executed jokes. Plus, his immaturity is often used ironically and is not the central point of his comedy. His recent Current Quickies lean more on the serious side, if that's what you are looking for.

I don't mean maturity in the sense of his content not being serious enough, but in the fact that I feel the quality of the videos has only improved on a superficial level. His jokes haven't gotten any smarter and his videos haven't gotten any more interesting. It's like AVGN or the Nostalgia Critic where even though they technically got better with time, they were still about the same as their younger selves.
i still enjoy watching caddicarus but i can't tell you the last time i found any of his jokes funny
i just feel like at least half of his jokes are just saying something, then a long pause or repeating the same thing for an extended period of time, and then having a sudden burst of noise and then quickly cutting to the next part

It's funny the first 5 or so videos, then it just becomes predictable and annoying
