I have this friend. He is very skinny. Should I be concerned for his health or is this okay? He always says he wants to put on weight but I am worried he could be bulimic or something. To me, it looks like alot of weight loss from some kind of substance abuse EDIT: Okay, I re-thought this thing, and it does look like a bulimic case, or a lack of eating all together.
Hes got some fat on his cheeks. Maybe he just has a very good metabolism to burn calories ?
To me, it looks like alot of weight loss from some kind of substance abuse
wtf? substance abuse lol This kid looks normal to me, just has a fast metabolism, scrawny body type or lack of muscle building.
you should be worried about that annoying smirk someone is going to hit him sooner or later
hit him? more like snap him in two
To me, it looks like alot of weight loss from some kind of substance abuse
Where does this professional knowledge you have come from
wasn't this very person posted in the gg fashion thread
Do you have any evidence beyond the fact that he looks skinny? It's not terribly uncommon for guys to be this skinny at this age; you certainly wouldn't be able to tell an eating disorder from just these photos. Any other indications?
How old is he?
Obviously I don't know his exact age, but I'm fairly certain from those pictures that he's younger than 25. And guys under 25 are commonly that skinny naturally.

He maybe slightly underweight but nothing abnormal. I think if you want to look for eating disorders you might want to look more into the person's self perception. If they're like "i'm so fat" and bs like that all the time then they might have a problem, otherwise i'd accredit his skinniness to a fast metabolism
I think your friend has more pressing problems like he looks like a girl LMFAO that first pic
he is 19. but the pictures don't do him justice. you know how cameras add 10 pounds? [editline]22nd January 2012[/editline]
I think your friend has more pressing problems like he looks like a girl LMFAO that first pic
what kind of girls live near you?
I didn't say he looked like a pretty girl retard But he does look like matthew broderick on estrogen
Looks like he like wearing skinny jeans and he seems to have a pretty huge bulge.
Avg weight for 20-29yr old is 168lbs in USA according to this: www.halls.md/chart/men-weight-w.htm
I don't know if you realize this, but it's fairly well acknowledged that a lot of people in developed countries, particularly the US, are overweight and/or obese. An 'average' weight doesn't tell us a lot about what is natural, healthy, or appropriate. We don't know this person's weight, height, medical history, or other things about his body (like how muscular he is), so we can't really make a judgment call here. I wasn't saying all guys under 25 are that skinny naturally; that's a clearly incorrect statement. I was saying, anecdotally, that it's my observation that I see plenty of guys that are under 25 who are that skinny without aiming to be so. Also, 20-29 is a very different category than under 25 (and, as it turns out, he's 19). Your metabolism tends to slow down as you reach your thirties, and people settle down and take more sedentary jobs, so obviously the average weight is going to be influenced by that.
ya all those fat people in africa with their large stomachs . such liars they dont need money [editline]24th January 2012[/editline] he looks like any other skinny twink in highschool that listens to shitty metalcore or w/e they want ot call it now
i think thats you
Nah. I am the opposite. I am fat. But rather be fat than that.
LOL
you sure showed ur friend whos is the boss
He isn't even that skinny. He probably looks skinnier to you because your fat, but he seems to be a healthy weight. It's very unlikely he has an eating disorder, and very likely he is someone with a naturally thin body type.
Looks like an average skinny 17 year old, tight jeans make it look worse.
this was posted on that fix it up look sharp thread
