The Shoebats’ conspiratorial article alleges that Khan “is a Muslim Brotherhood agent who wants to advance Sharia law and bring Muslims into the United States” and “a Muslim plant working with the Hillary Clinton campaign.” Walid and Ted Shoebat are both far-right activists. Ted, who is Walid’s son, has called for gay people, Muslim-Americans, Hillary Clinton and others to be put to death by the government, while Walid has said that Jesus Christ would “kill gays,” lashed out at “dumb Jews” and said that only “liberals, idiots and gay lovers” would mourn the recent attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando.
The Shoebats conclude their article by comparing the Khans’ late son, Humayun, to double agent Ali Mohamed and to Nidal Hassan, the Fort Hood shooter, suggesting that he was a terrorist-in-waiting:
This guy was a close ally with Trump for the longest time too.

I think we can use better sources than this
I know it's a bit off topic but the parents were god damn awful for digging up their dead son to be used as a political prop at the DNC.

idk maybe they're offended that despite his son was muslim and died for his country, that their people is being singled out to be banned from travelling to the US?

I can see your point. But for me personally I would never bring up a dead loved one to be used like that.
Roger Stone lol. Might as well throw in Alex Jones, Ann Coulter too. All of them have big mouths but barely says anything intelligent.

When one half of the political spectrum is demonizing an entire group of millions of people, I don't see what's the problem with reminding people that they're people too who go through the same tragedies as 'normal' people.

cause you have no reason to
you're not part of a targeted group thats been publicly declared by a running dipshit candidate to be a discriminated
one of people that'll be in the discriminated group will be khan's family whose pissed that they'll be discriminated against despite the fact that their son fought & died for his country

Do you feel the same about the parents of students who commit suicide because of bullying, and devote their lives to spreading awareness about the effects that abuse and harassment have on young people in an attempt to fight it?
I'm not a parent, but I can understand completely how and why the Khans would want to speak out about this. Their son fought for this country, and was killed in the line of duty. Despite that, they are still at risk of being fucking banned from the country for having the "wrong" religion until Trump can "figure out what's going on." That flies in the face of everything the United States is supposed to represent, and what their son died for. Religious freedom was deemed so important that it is literally the FIRST thing the founding fathers included in the constitution, and yet here we are at the precipice of a major world religion being outright banned because of misguided, reactionary bullshit.
