Seriously, I don't know about other places, but around my parts, the people who go to anime clubs are the worst kind of fans. It's comparable to minecraft in the fandom aspect. The game is fucking fun, but whenever I see the community, I can even see garry's banning spree in a positive light. The people who watch anime over here don't do it because they enjoy it, it's because it's popular.

In relation to minceraft, it's exactly the opposite at my college. The nerdiest, gayest, weirdest people all say that "Minecraft is shit and I should hate it too" while the nicer people love it. The anime club is sill full of the weirdos though.
