Batman Killer, EG That massive cunt, appears in Court.
Batman massacre gunman James Holmes has appeared in court in Colorado with bright orange dyed hair.
Holmes sat wide-eyed and appeared dazed as the judge in Denver advised him of his legal rights.
The court heard he will be formally charged next Monday with the murders of 12 people at the Batman film premiere.
The 24-year-old former graduate student is refusing to cooperate with police, and it could take months to learn what prompted Friday's attack on moviegoers at the midnight screening.
Investigators say they found a Batman mask inside Holmes' booby-trapped apartment.
Holmes has been held in solitary confinement since Friday. Prosecutors say they may consider the death penalty but will make that decision after consulting with victim's families. Holmes began buying guns nearly two months before the shooting and recently bought 6,000 rounds of ammunition over the internet, police chief Dan Oates said.
During the attack, Holmes set off gas canisters and used a semi-automatic rifle, a shotgun and a pistol. The assault rifle jammed during the attack, forcing the gunman to switch to another gun with less firepower, which may well have saved more lives.
Holmes' apartment was filled with trip wires, explosive devices and unknown liquids, requiring police, FBI officials and bomb squad technicians to evacuate surrounding buildings while spending most of Saturday disabling the booby traps. Investigators have said they found a Batman mask inside the apartment.
As authorities rushed to piece together Holmes' background, the owner of a gun range said that Holmes applied to join the club last month but never became a member because of his behaviour and a "bizarre" message on his voice mail.
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is looking into whether Holmes, a former doctoral student in neuroscience, used his position in a graduate programme to collect hazardous materials.
I bet this case has gotten/will get so much media and national attention that they'll end up giving him the death sentence.

Would his educational history be evidence against insanity? Just a question.

Sadly, yes. It amazes me hat some ignorant people can still be against capital punishment with stuff like this going on.
Oh, I imagined his hair was normal like that mug shot circulated.

What the fuck is your problem?
Sadly, yes. It amazes me hat some ignorant people can still be against capital punishment with stuff like this going on.
the idea is that people do not choose to make actions like this. he didn't have a wonderful, happy lifestyle like you did, and his mind is not in the condition to make decisions like you do.
i'm not defending what he did, but to mindlessly kill everyone who does stuff like this is as bad as what he did. we should look at what made him into a cold blooded killer and repair the cracks in society.
3 dumbs? if you think i'm in some way dumb, feel free to challenge my opinion. remember to cite your sources, because i know i will.

I was debating this with my Republican father.
We want to institute a system that will bring about the least crime overall. Is the shooting of 70 by one worse than the shooting of 70 by 70? Cases like this bring about a lot of attention, but if a rehabilitative prison system reduces crime overall, then it should be implemented.
Doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to rot for what he did. I don't believe in a hell but I sure wish there was one for this idiot psychopath.

You can disagree with him but I don't feel that "this murderer of 12 deserves to die" is a statement worth a "What the fuck is your problem?"
wait nvm he didn't kill 70
why is this scrub still alive

I wouldn't wish hell on anyone, my friend.

really? Hell is meant to be eternal, if he spent an aeon in a lake of fire for every nanosecond of suffering he'd ever caused that would encompass literally 0% of his ultimate punishment. I'd say that's even worse than what he did, and even if, by some monumental stretch of morality, it isn't, that's still a really, really evil thing to do.
Uh, a wild goatse has appeared.

Not really.
Like some people are really tall, and some people are really stupid, some people are just fucked up and it has nothing to do with society.

im not sure what's worse, your opinion or the goatse

please, explain. i didn't understand that stupidity was now a genetic factor, and being a merciless killer was too. if that's the case, shouldn't the plea for insanity be entirely justified?
I bet this case has gotten/will get so much media and national attention that they'll end up giving him the death sentence.
Orrrr we can keep him away from the public and learn from his condition so we can give care to mentally unsound children to prevent another disaster before it happens?
Nevermind, that's silly.
They're considering the death penalty?
I dont mean to sound too bloodthirsty, but unless this man has some kind of mental disorder that went unchecked, I think that's the right thing to do.

why
why
Becuase the crowd demand blood.
why
He just walked into a cinema, full of people excited and happy to see the new batman film, and started shooting at them. If he goes to jail, he will probably only get shived by a bunch of criminals anyway. Maybe i'm being too mean, but that's just what I think.

So, the punishment for murder is being murdered?
Just so you know mods, he edited in the photo after they had quoted him.

Nope, still not seeing any justification for an 'eye for an eye' routine here.

revenge has no place in the justice system, let alone the most expensive form of revenge possible
What the fuck is your problem?
I don't know, what is James Holmes's?
Nope, still not seeing any justification for an 'eye for an eye' routine here.
He killed innocent, helpless people in a cinema, and he probably planned to kill more people. I'm just saying, I think that a man as dangerous and as merciless as that should be put to death for his crime. It's like if someone took out a gun and then just started mowing down people on the street, when they were just going about their buisness.
I mean, I know it sounds awful, but I think it's either be killed by criminals in jail, or be killed by the government.
