Could've sworn this thread was made faster than my phone notified me the video was up. How the hell are you guys doing this?
Is that lid really cool to the touch?
As always, remember to turn on closed captions [editline]a[/editline] why are you rating this funny? seriously, go turn on the closed captions, he put a bunch of useful information about what he's doing in there
Is that lid really cool to the touch?
The dude probably has centimetre thick calluses on his fingers from all the shit he does.

Was anyone else incredibly bothered that the lid didn't perfectly fit onto the pot.
Was anyone else incredibly bothered that the lid didn't perfectly fit onto the pot.
It's called Primitive Technology, not Making a Clay Pot, unless he makes a potting wheel, these imperfections aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Though the PT guy has a better grasp of furnace construction and materials, they did a bunch of stuff that the PT guy didn't go into, like a potting wheel:
Still amazes me that a 1st year ceramics class is basically a "introduction to primitive clay work" as seen there: shaping, firing, testing the materials around you.
That clay stove really blew my mind.
