In an advanced copy of investigative writer Joe McGinniss’ book [URL="http://www.amazon.com/Rogue-Searching-Real-Sarah-Palin/dp/0307718921"]“The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin,”[/URL] the [I][URL="http://www.nationalenquirer.com/celebrity/world-exclusive-sarah-palin-book-secrets-revealed-joe-mcginnis-rogue"]National Inquirer[/URL][/I] reports that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had quite a bit of fun during the 1980s. The new book about the Tea Party favorite says the then 23-year-old sports reporter had a “fetish” for black men, which led to a one-night stand with the then University of Michigan basketball player, [URL="http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/ricegl01.html"]Glen Rice[/URL]. Palin had apparently covered a basketball tournament when she met Rice, who would go onto the NBA and become a three-time All-Star and champion. The author of the new book contacted Rice and verified the information. Rice said that he did sleep with Palin back in 1987. Months following their one-night stand, Palin married her high school sweetheart, Todd Palin. They are together to this day. McGinniss also claims that Palin snorted cocaine off a 55-gallon oil drum when she was snowboarding with friends. He further alleges that Palin had an affair with Brad Hanson, her husband’s snowmobile dealership partner. The author has attempted to uncover Palin’s past for the last three years. He eventually rented a house next door to the Palins in Wasilla, Alaska. “The Rogue” is set to be released next Tuesday. Palin mentions McGinness in her reality television show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” as a pest and says her life is “none of his flippin’ business.” McGinniss was labeled as the [URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVn3ZapZL54"]“Wasilla Stalker”[/URL] for his actions. He became the first Heat player to average 20 points per game and led the team to its first playoff series against the Chicago Bulls. He also had a successful stint in Charlotte during the 1996-1997 season where he was third in the NBA in scoring behind Michael Jordan and Karl Malone.
