A total lunar eclipse will occur this night in the American hemisphere. It can be partly seen in Europe during the morning, but only barely. A solar eclipse will however follow the 4th January in Europe. It's only a partial eclipse, but most of the sun will be covered, especially in Scandinavia. :sweden: :denmark:
cool. I'll be in school on the 4th. hopefully it happens while I'm out and about.
Holy shit. Even if America is the anus of the earth, I want to go there sometimes.
Holy shit. Even if America is the anus of the earth, I want to go there sometimes.
Solar eclipses > lunar eclipses.
Oh cool, thanks for telling. I'll make sure take a look if it won't be cloudy.
Holy shit. Even if America is the anus of the earth, I want to go there sometimes.
Why would you start this
A total lunar eclipse will occur this night in the American hemisphere.
Where is that? You mean the western hemisphere? [editline]20th December 2010[/editline] Also, what timezone are you in?
Where is that? You mean the western hemisphere? [editline]20th December 2010[/editline] Also, what timezone are you in?
Western hemisphere then, near the Californian and Mexican coast to be precise. GMT +1 btw.
Will vampires be all over the place ? :(
Australians miss out on everything. Even nature. We banned Eclipses already :saddowns:
but most of the sun will be covered, especially in Scandinavia. :sweden: :denmark:
the sun is below the horizon for 6 months anyway isn't it
Fucking eclipses. Here in england I have to wait like 30 years to see one.
It's rare, so it's instantly something every one wants to see. Also don't stare at a solar eclipse, it will cause eye damage.
Lol'ed at 'American hemisphere'. America being two continents covering both the north and south hemispheres.
2012
and all I got to see was
Lol'ed at 'American hemisphere'. America being two continents covering both the north and south hemispheres.
joke's on you a hemisphere just means "one half of a sphere" - it can be oriented in any direction, not just north/south hence, "american hemisphere" means the half of the world in which north and south america are in.
I'm getting up at 2 in the morning just to watch this.
Wouldn't Africa be earth's anus? North America is more like a flesh eating disease mixed with intelligent crabs.
Wouldn't Africa be earth's anus? North America is more like a flesh eating disease mixed with intelligent crabs.
do you have downs
Does anyone know what time it happens?
do you have downs
Are you within a 1 digit difference of 14?
Holy shit. Even if America is the anus of the earth, I want to go there sometimes.
You idiot, that's Africa.
do you have downs
Nice, and you didn't use a question mark either.
who cares about an eclipse honestly. just shit that happens, no need to make a thread about it
Oh yea, It's not all important that you will only get to see it once, and the next one is projected to happen in 2096. Not important at all.
Around what time will this go down in EDT?
The time is right.
