Haven't found a youtube link and don't know if you can video tag other places.
[sp] The independence day one was great [/sp] :v:
I'm going to see this at a theater tomorrow, fucking pumped.
Resurrection of F that is. The sound isn't working for me on the site you posted, though I've been having that problem today. Not sure if it's a flash player thing or what.

Hmm it worked for me.
Anyone else having this problem let me know, I'll work on finding a different vid.
goku smoking weed is finally canon
this was way too short.
Vegeta saying [sp]"I have nipples Greg. Could you milk me?"[/sp] killed me.
That and King Kai's speech.
My god I actually cried a little.
Just watched the film. Its like 10% story 90% explosions and yelling.
10/10 would recommend.

I'm just disappointed it pretty much had no Vegeta whatsoever. I wanted to see him whoop some ass, but he barely got any screentime fighting. But it was a pretty fantastical movie, on par with Battle of the Gods, but not sure if it tops the Bingo dance/sing number.

I'm just glad Piccolo and Tien actually got to do something for like the first time since the Cell Saga.

Yeah, they should have replaced Goku with Vegeta for most of the fight. Especially considering that Vegeta would have a MUCH bigger grudge against Frieza due to his past.

You mean they didn't do that?
God fucking damnit Toriyama what the shit!?
This was my one wish as a Vegeta fan and you ruined it.
Yeah, Vegeta sits pretty much the whole fight out. He still plays a part in the movie, his interactions with Goku serve as the main source of comedy throughout the film, but he barely fights at all. Which sucks, because I got vibes he's just about evenly matched with Goku these days. Whis hints at it at one point as well.

I think they were trying to save the reveal that he'd ascended like Goku had, so Frieza would seem like a bigger threat... and then of course, he finds out Vegeta is about as strong, and realizes he's completely fucked after wearing himself out fighting Goku.
I actually liked it a lot. We got to see Frieza backing off Vegeta, piss scared, and effectively at his mercy. You can tell Vegeta was loving every second of it, like he'd been giftwrapped some unfinished business, and fulfilling a fantasy he's probably had since he first went Super Saiyan.
I brought an old friend of mine into the movie blind, totally unaware of what was coming, or that it was even a new movie. Total Vegeta nut, and he was giddy like a teenager. Awesome experience.
Who knows though, this will likely be an arc in Dragonball Super, so we might see that beatdown last a tad longer.
oh shit is this out now
oh damn oh shit oh fuck im gonna go buy some popcorn brb
this has made my month

Don't worry that post is full of shit Vegeta gets his time to shine but it's all too tragically funny
Spoilers ofc:
[sp]Vegeta wins against Frieza, and he's about to get his just desserts, but frieza destroys the earth as a last ditch effort and Whiz has to use his temporal do-over to bring back just before Vegeta wins against Frieza, Goku comes in and fucks up Frieza to prevent him from blowing up the earth. The look vegeta's face is priceless. It's a huge payoff due to the fact they are arguing over who's turn it is to fight frieza the whole movie. [/sp]

He does have his time to shine, but its like a WHOLE 5 minutes, [SP]and Goku steal the glory for himself anyway at the end[/SP]
[SP]Hell, even Vegeta gets sick of waiting to fight Frieza, but every time he tries to join in for 'his turn', Goku started bitching. The only time when Goku willingly offered Vegeta to have a go is right after the Gold Frieza transformation because he didn't want to get his hands dirty.
It would have been far better if Goku stood aside and let Vegeta have some fun when Vegeta punched him.[/SP]

[sp]But Goku stealing his glory in the end was the fucking joke??? not to mention that specific tidbit is included in my post[/sp]

My big issue is that [SP]Goku was too stubborn to back down unless it benefited him in some way. By the time Vegeta actually got to fight him was when Frieza was already exhausted and weak. It was hardly even a fight.[/SP]

To think Goku is the perfect hero is making a very big mistake. I don't see how it's an issue, it's how the character would act in that situation.
I don't think it's out of character for Goku, it's just disappointed for Vegeta fans. The way things played out makes sense as far as characters and the story goes, but was a big let-down for Vegeta fans, especially since Whis pretty much tells him at the beginning of the movie that he has the potential to be just as strong (if not stronger) than Goku if he relaxes and stops over-thinking every move. It sucks for his power to be hyped up like that only to see a small glimpse of it at the tail end of the movie.
Hey, at least Vegeta's still relevant. The only time Piccolo fans get their moments anymore is when some b-grade bad guy lieutenant is brought in.
So like is the English version out yet or are you people watching Japanese with subs?
