According to several eyewitnesses, the man, who was standing on the platform, was pushed under the train. ”Two young men pushed him in front of a train that was just slowing down to stop ”, Georg Mitassov who saw the incident, reported to the free-distribution newspaper Vartti. Mitassov says that after the shove the men fled from the scene on foot. According to inspector-on-duty Tuomo Tuohimaa from the Helsinki Police Department, it is still unclear what happened at the station, but the possibility of a crime cannot be ruled out. Tuohimaa reported slightly before 7:00 pm that the police have apprehended several persons relating to the case, presumably based on CCTV footage and witness statements. The roughly 35-year-old victim is being cared for at Helsinki’s Töölö Hospital. There is no news about his condition for the time being. Following the incident, the M-line train traffic between Central Helsinki and Vantaankoski was cut off for about 30 minutes. Trains were behind schedule and some individual departures had to be cancelled until 5:00 pm.
Ouch. [sp]I didn't mean it in a bad way. poor guy.[/sp]
Good he didn't fall on the tracks.
What the fuck? And it looks all casual too
What an asshole
evil right there
Good thing that he bounced off instead of getting crushed under the train.
And all the friends just ran away if you look closely.
Someone's played way too much Mass Effect.

What a dick. [editline]5th May 2012[/editline] Also, I find this funny:
According to inspector-on-duty Tuomo Tuohimaa from the Helsinki Police Department, it is still unclear what happened at the station, but the possibility of a crime cannot be ruled out.
No shit?
What kind of jackass does that? At least the guy lived though.
Also, I find this funny: No shit?
"According to the officer in charge a person might have been hit by a train, though he's not ruling out it might have been an airplane or a bicycle that hit a cat or dog"
Finnish law enforcement and police are some of the worst. Pretty much the weak link of Finland.
Could you elaborate? I'm not sure I understand.
Could you elaborate? I'm not sure I understand.
Finnish law enforcement and police are bad. pretty much the weakest link in finland is it that hard to understand??
And everyone just walks around like it happens everyday, jeez.
Finnish law enforcement and police are some of the worst. Pretty much the weak link of Finland.
Karhuryhmä gets shit done, the rest could spend a week inspecting and then conclude that the shooting victim was indeed killed by a gunman
Finnish law enforcement and police are bad. pretty much the weakest link in finland is it that hard to understand??
I can understand you CLAIM it is bad, I will not believe it IS bad unless you give some definite examples. Apparently one example is that the police take longer time to conclude foolproofly that something did indeed happen. What else?

God these youtube comments.
What* a faggot...!!! faglol22 21 hours ago
Didn't this happen like a month ago?
Wow he's really lucky (not that it's any luck getting pused in the first place) that he didn't end up on the tracks, but somehow bounced back on the platform.
I will never stand in front of someone at a train station ever again.
I think I know that guy.
Finnish law enforcement and police are some of the worst. Pretty much the weak link of Finland.
Why would you say this without any basis? Edit: We have 0 police corruption and it's not like they don't get the job done.
Nobody said they don't get the job done. They do, too bad it just usually takes so much time
Wowe, give me an example where the finnish police haven't solved a case "fast enough". Edit: I believe saying that the finnish police are some of the worst is flat out pessimistic or is based on some ulterior motive.
The man who pushed him is not responsible! It's the trains i tell you! They're evil!
One second earlier and he probably wouldn't have bounced.
Sucks that for some arbitrary reason some kind of fences or something can't be put up that would open only when a train has arrived so some pignecked fucks like those dudes who pushed the poor guy couldn't try atrocious bullshit like that.
Why would you just randomly try to murder someone?
