http://www.lifesitenews.com/horror-mob-of-topless-pro-abort-feminists-attacks-rosary-praying-men-defend.html
Buenos Aires, December 2nd, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Extremely disturbing video footage from Argentina shows a mob of feminists at a recent protest attacking and sexually molesting a group of Rosary-praying Catholic men who were peacefully protecting the cathedral in the city of San Juan from threats of vandalism. The women, many of them topless, spray-painted the men’s crotches and faces and swastikas on their chests and foreheads, using markers to paint their faces with Hitler-like moustaches. They also performed obscene sexual acts in front of them and pushed their breasts onto their faces, all the while shouting “get your rosaries out of our ovaries. While the site of the protest was the front of the cathedral, InfoBae reports that "the whole city awoke to graffiti in favor of abortion." Inside the cathedral, 700 people were also in prayer accompanied by their bishop Mos. Alfonso Delgado. After unsuccessfully trying to get into the building, the women burned a human-sized effigy of Pope Francis. “If the pope were a woman, abortion would be legal,” they shouted.
Yes, posting this in the news section will definitely cause more of a shitstorm than in the video section.
So? This is what woman wants?
Could you get any more animalistic
Not sure how legitimate this is but apparently this snippet came from one of the protesters:
I'm just going to state something that the publisher obviously neglected to tell: This so called protest was scheduled as a pacifist rally, and got violent after a bus that had members of a feminist congress that was taking place in the San Juan province was attacked with stones and glass shards while leaving town. Recently, a far right ultra-catholic group related to this incident, also entered and disturbed the Kristallnacht mass were all the Jewish community authorities at the Buenos Aires Cathedral were. The congress was about several subjects, one of them being abortion (a change in our civil code was made last week, which makes abortion impossible), minery (which is destroying our country, contaminating our water and leaving people without their homes). The rally was scheduled to walk by the Cathedral, where it was verbally attacked by the ultra-catholic group stationed near the church. When the women retaliated, some of them answered, while some did not. This video is very careful on what it shows and tells, as it is obviously telling the world half the story here. San Juan is a very conservative and Catholic province. In this state, the church is above the law, and a lot of the population lives way below the poverty line. Church officials get a lot of money from the state, which is quite unfair considering the manner on which most of the population lives. It is also a place where women are really undermined, and where the wealthy part of the population (people who own much of the land) can do pretty much as they like, even rape women at pleasure because someone from their family works in the city or province's government. I'm not saying that what this women did was not wrong. No public or historical building should be subjected to this, and certainly not people to this kind of disrespect, but they were challenged, without a doubt, and these men are not innocent little lambs.•
[editline]3rd December 2013[/editline] From here
This is savagery. They need to stop before they humiliate themselves any further.
This is savagery. They need to stop before they humiliate themselves any further.
Let them humiliate themselves, what I'm worried about is how they're gonna make the world view all feminists as a whole.
"Girls Gone Wild" has kind of gone down hill it looks like...
America needs more protests like these.

Problem is no one's gonna read past the title and will use the thread as an excuse to post why they think feminism is dumb, or make a tumblr joke
America needs more protests like these.
They wouldn't accomplish anything.
America needs more protests like these.
America needs to deport the likes of you to outer space.
"respect us!!" spit on and assault peaceful protesters while preforming obscene acts
From the source:
The police reportedly told the media they were unable to intervene because “they are women."
If you want to commit a crime in Argentina, make sure you are a woman
"Let's show them how much we deserve equality by acting like a bunch of retards" Yeah... This is totally how you get people to take your group seriously.
Aren't those people only protecting the church against vandalism, not making a statement, just literally protecting the church against the "protesters"? If they are, then that was straight up assault.
I'd understand violent protests with how increasingly shitty my country's government is getting, and that the govt is passing the worst goddamn laws (illegal abortion, etc) but this is just embarrassing. I'm highly doubting that whole "this started off pacifically" thing, too, since the protesters showed up with their faces covered, chests bare and written on, carrying spraypaint and stencils... The whole thing looks planned. [editline]4th December 2013[/editline] That, and the fact that no news agencies are covering this seems extremely weird. Pfft, the only part of Argentina that matters is Buenos Aires, right?
From the source: If you want to commit a crime in Argentina, make sure you are a woman
What the hell, is that seriously a law?
Modern "feminism" (in this context, FEMEN shit, tumblr crap, Anita, that other popular youtube feminist who i forget, etc) is honestly retarded and has no place calling itself feminism. Seems insulting to actual feminists from decades past who were campaigning respectfully against actual issues not garbage non sense and throwing fits in the street. ME ME ME LOOK AT ME I'M RIGHT YOU'RE WRONG MISOGYNIST

ME ME ME LOOK AT ME I'M RIGHT YOU'RE WRONG MISOGYNIST
I'd go as far as to say whatever those people you mentioned are most certainly aren't feminists. They don't want equality, they (claim to) want female dominance and to make men the permanent underclass. Whether or not they legitimately believe that is another story, but you're right, they do feminism a disservice by associating themselves with it.
"Let's show them how much we deserve equality by acting like a bunch of retards" Yeah... ME ME ME LOOK AT ME I'M RIGHT YOU'RE WRONG MISOGYNIST
The one and only Mr. Strawman strikes once more. Darn! This is the same negative attitude that was applied towards civil rights groups in the 1950s and 1960s. "Eugghh, same old folks making the same old fuss.."
I am pretty sure that in the eyes of the incredibly Christian goverenment of Argentina. This incident isn't looking very positive for the feminists.
The one and only Mr. Strawman strikes once more. Darn!
I'm quite sure I'm not the one and only, especially not on FP.
I'm quite sure I'm not the one and only, especially not on FP.
It's just a joke; the kind of attitude your carrying towards blaming people is accusatory and lethargic. It's not a whole lot different than blaming an metaphorical group of supremacists. What does "ew tumblr feminists" even mean?

It's well known that the vast majority of tumblr activists are complete and utter idiots. See: thin privilege, "feminism", LGBT stuff
It means pretty much what he said. It's well known that the vast majority of tumblr activists are complete and utter idiots. See: thin privilege, "feminism", LGBT stuff
People are going to see feminism in a negative light because of common, harmful cultural expectations (mostly related to gender), so of course some people are going to have vigor in how they present things. On the topic of people who are actually unhinged and unfair - that is a small niche that no one in their right mind is going to even worry about. .. and why is "LGBT" even there? Is promoting LGBT awareness bad?
What does "ew tumblr feminists" even mean?
A curious breed indeed. The tumblr straw feminist (Tumblis Paleae Femina) is widely believed to be a real creature, but despite many sightings (much like bigfoot), it does not actually exist. This breed is an offshoot of the well known "kulak" in Soviet Russia. Used as a slur against innocent people, it could be used as a weapon against political opponents, inventing enemies where previously there had been none. Today this tradition is carried on, where much like the fabled "kulak", the tumblr straw feminist, is merely an invented creature used by various persons as an excuse to attack, ignore, or discredit all of feminism.
Most feminists aren't like this you know, hell these people are so extreme they go beyond feminism into something else.
I am pretty sure that in the eyes of the incredibly Christian goverenment of Argentina. This incident isn't looking very positive for the feminists.
The incredibly christian government that recently passed a countrywide same-sex marriage law? yeah sure the argentinian government isn't christian, it's just stupid and greedy
It means pretty much what he said. It's well known that the vast majority of tumblr activists are complete and utter idiots. See: thin privilege, "feminism", LGBT stuff
Thin privilege is not really a thing in mainstream feminist activism, though. Besides, the site this article is from is absolute rubbish. Right on the front page, it describes a protest in Taiwan against a law that would permit same-sex marriage as this:
Taiwan is the latest in a series of nations and states targeted by gay activists for radical social change despite massive public opposition.
Apparently the legalisation of same-sex marriage is referred to as 'being targeted by gay activists'. The rest of the front-page articles are a bunch of misleading or otherwise disingenuous pieces about abortion, the affordable care act, and gay rights. Find a better source or don't post this kind of thing.
