my neighbour had a dog like that. It would protect their baby with its life if it had to. He would walk side by side with the baby always on the lookout.
badass dog
Love those kinds of dogs, they're so awesome.
At 1:04, and most of the video, up above the rubber chicken is another dog's head.
Man's best friend right there.
Wolf hybrids are the best.

That wolf sounds like drill, but it's cool.
that kid is gonna grow up to become a real life mowgli!
I bet the kid was just confused by the new sound and concentraded on that rather than the thing that made it cry.
Looks like the kid went into survival mode upon hearing the wolf.

You might want to turn down the volume.

Strideers!
I used to own a similar dog, an Alaskan Malamute (not to be confused for a husky. Malamute have curled tails but other than that look very similar to a husky)
I raised and trained her myself from when she was only a pup. They are amazing dogs really but can be pretty territorial. It's definitely not a good idea to own other breeds in the same yard, at least for my dog.
It's a shame really - I had to move out from my home and into an apartment because of work. And now my grandparents take care of her (and not nearly as well as I had hoped. They never take her for damn walks). At least their yard is a bit bigger than mine, but they still should take her for walks dammit!!!
